Jet Force Gemini - I still can't believe I actually finished it.
Nice one, man. :) :n64: How long did that take?
Only like a week or so,
Spoiler: click to toggle
(game length is a spoiler in itself sometimes)

Had a few days off and was constantly motivated to play so not so bad.

I already regarded this as a top 10 game, an utter classic, it's pushing top 5 now.
The game gets WAY to much of a bum wrap about the whole rescuing Tribals thing!
They made the game deep and with layers, sort of in a Metroid Prime style where you see all these areas and wonder how to get there and then get rewarded for your heightened powers of observation later on!
If the game ended before you get told to rescue them, I would have been bitterly disappointed
Spoiler: click to toggle

Instead, you get to really explore the fantastic worlds and planets that Rare created and collect some more Drone heads from ridiculous explosions and make ol Fernando a happy mole 😏😉💦😂💦

Speaking of getting a game off my backlog - finally finished Mario Kart on the Wii whilst at my girlfriend's earlier. Great fun playing this with the Wii steering wheel! I am not far away from completing Resident Evil on the PS1 either with Chris. Hopefully finish that tomorrow.

EDIT: Have now completed Resident Evil. Total game time over 5 hours so definitely rusty. Rusty as the broken shotgun.

Spoiler: click to toggle

SNES:
Donkey Kong Country 2

PS1:
Resident Evil

N64:
Goldeneye 007

Wii:

MORTAL KOMBAT X STORY. - Jan

GAMECUBE
007- everything or nothing - Jan
007- Agent under fire - Feb

Just finished everything or nothing and I really enjoyed it. Third person action game with decent shooting mechanics and cover system. It mixed it up a bit with well done driving levels and even a race which handle well. I'd recommend this one.

Edit
Just finished agent under fire and didnt enjoy it very much. I found the control so hard to get used to for some reason and had lots of deaths because of it. Not the worst game but I'm glad FPS control schemes have improved the way they have

PlayStation
- NEW Disney's Tarzan

Sega Dreamcast
- Ready 2 Rumble Boxing: Round 2 (Arcade Mode as Boris Knokimov)

PlayStation 2
- NEW Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4

Xbox
- NEW Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex

Nintendo GameCube
- Sonic R (100% completion) (played on Sonic Gems Collection)

Nintendo 3DS
- NEW LBX: Little Battlers eXperience

LBX: Little Battlers eXperience has been beaten! While the game might mostly be battling, battling and more battling, I didn't mind one bit becauss the battle mechanics and customization options for these little robots are amazing. If you're going through Custom Robo withdrawl, LBX is your next fix! If the idea of going through battle after battle with little else in-between doesn't interest you, then wait for a price drop or just watch the cartoon.

UPDATE (2/8/16): Three games added to the list this time! Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex, Disney's Tarzan and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 have been beaten! Since talking about all three games in one shot would take up too much space and time, all I'll say is, despite TWoC having a few game design issues, all three games were a joy to play and I recommend them all full on. :yeah:

I finished Tomb Raider Definitive Edition tonight. It was good fun but there are some bits that were a bit annoying mainly related to the slightly clunky controls and camera at times. Mostly enjoyable though! :)

Finished this year:

JANUARY

The Walking Dead: The Complete First Season & 400 Days (XB1, 100%)
Call of Duty Ghosts (XB1, campaign completed)
Life Is Strange Episode 1 (XB1)

FEBRUARY

Fallout 4 (XB1, 3 story endings, 100% achievements)
Tomb Raider Definitive Edition (XB1, campaign completed)

NEW Risk Of Rain - Super fun game! Try to survive 5 levels with only 1 life and the game gets harder and harder as time goes on. To combat the ever growing enemy army you can collect items, I'm talking like 100's, and they give you sick power-ups that you can stack. It's 2D and I've logged 72 hours on steam playing this game.

All right, it took a month and a half and the purchase of a new console but I've finished my first game of 2016. Firewatch on PS4 is quite the exhilarating little "walking simulator" that I can't recommend enough.

NEW Tropico 3 Love this game. Took me 40 hours to beat all the islands and I wish there were more to play. For those of you who don't know its a island simulator where you, el presidente, have to try and build a city and deal with changing threats. Its serious enough to be fun but its super goofy at the same time. Highly recommend this game.

PC
Gauntlet
Guns'N'Zombies (Hell difficulty 100% Completion)
NEW Lethal League - Excellent 2D fighter and very unique! Rather than fighting each other directly in this game there is a ball that you hit to kill other players. When you hit the ball with your bat it changes to your color. So if the next person doesn't hit it and the ball hits them they are out. If they hit the ball then it changes to their color. Took me a while to get used to this game play style, but once I did I loved it. It gets super intense as you and your opponent volley the ball because it gets faster and faster with each hit. Highly recommend this game.

Fatal Frame 5 - Feb

Finished fatal frame 5 on the Wii U and had a mixed experience with it. I havent really played much of this series before. I brought FF2 for the original xbox back in the day but never really got far with it. I love survival horror games so thought this would be a good edition to my Wii U library. 10 minutes in and I never gave up as it was slow and the controls felt stiff and unresponsive but stuck with it. 2 hours in and I was loving the game, the tone felt great and I was also nervous the next ghost was gonna jump out. Took me around 12 hours to complete and I think it was about 4-5 hours too long. The game is very repetitive and you spend most of the time retracing the same few areas again and again. Overall i'm glad I played it but I wont be rushing back to play it again

Vigilante 8 is awesome. Multiplayer is where its at. Still on the hunt for a copy of Vigilante 8: 2nd Offense in the wild. That one is a little harder to come by.

Wow, never thought I would beat this game but after 636 hours I have beat the game with every character. Since I have both expansion packs for this game it added a lot of new content to beat. Most of the games were beaten on King mode, which is considered hard mode, but not the hardest. If you can beat Civ V on Deity mode then you are truly a god. Very difficult game honestly, and I probably lose 6 out of 7 games I play. My last character Maria Theresa, took me way more tires then I'd like to admit. It's hard to know when your gonna lose and often times you don't find out until your 2-3 hours into a game, time to start over lol. One of my favorite games ever made.
