Super Nintendo - NEW Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest PlayStation - Disney's Tarzan - Walt Disney World Quest: Magical Racing Tour - Street Sk8er - Bust-a-Move ''99 (Arcade Vs. I know I replaced it with Tropical Freeze as the best DKC game over a year ago, but that was a mistake. In my mind, they're both equally near perfect platformers that deserve to share the #1 spot with each other. Easy recommendation from me. Edited by EnvyFox, May 5 2016, 09:31 AM.

Nice one EF. Definitely the best in the series to my mind (I've not played Tropical Freeze as I don't have a WiiU - looks good though. Love the DK SNES series though, of which 2 is the best game. Completed it myself end of last year / start of this. I still need to go on and complete DK Country 3. |

Finished off the last episode of The Walking Dead: Michonne. It was an enjoyable series, for the most part, but was also probably the weakest effort in the TWD franchise so far. Still worth a go. Firewatch - PS4 (February 15, 2016) The Walking Dead - Michonne: Episode 1 - In Too Deep - Xbox 360 (March 3, 2016) Grand Theft Auto V - PS4 (March 21, 2016) Dying Light - PS4 (March 30, 2016) Dying Light: The Following - PS4 (April 6, 2016) The Walking Dead - Michonne: Episode 2 - Give No Shelter - Xbox 360 (April 22, 2016) The Walking Dead - Michonne: Episode 3 - What We Deserve - Xbox 360 (May 5, 2016) Now I can get back to Just Cause 3 and my newly began run through of Final Fantasy VII in anticipation of the upcoming Remake. I agree Red. While I enjoyed it quite a lot, I feel like it was a rushed endevour. 3 episodes didn't seem nearly enough. Just hoping they're working on TWD Season 3

All that I have heard is that we will see season 3 sometime this year. I'm eagerly awaiting more adventures with Clementine. I'd also love a season 2 of A Wolf Among Us. |

I've got such a long list of games I need to complete lol. Now I'm set up in my new home and in my game room I am going to try hard to start knocking some of them out. Still have no internet package set up yet which is good in a way as it is keeping me off CoD / my PS4. Completed James Bond 007: Nightfire. Used to have this on PS2. Knew I completed Agent Under Fire & Everything or Nothing back in the day but couldn't remember completing this one so completed it. Seeing that Buddy had completed it in Feb is what made me think yeah I need to go back and do that again. This is still my favorite game in the series (so far). It has to be the differing scenarios as the rest of the game plays like most other classic RE games. Another recommendation here.

Faster than I expected - yesterday / today I completed Rocky on the GC. Just finished watching all the movies so got me in the mood to complete it through. Love the films and the game is good fun. Works well with the film series. Decent enough graphics. Great boxing experience and even better for any fans of the franchise. Glad to have done this as it was another where I wasn't sure if I beat it 100% before. So I've been a little inactive, but the Bam is back with a new completion! I recently purchased the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, which consists of Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3. Never played 3 before, and I was really pleasantly surprised! First, I heard the original had the overhead camera. They've ditched that for a 3rd person camera, which works far better. Second, the sound of this game is amazing! There are some good songs in this game, some very James Bond like. Everything was a step ahead, and I prefer this rather than FOX Engine (MGSV). The story was a really good one, filled with twists and thought provoking actions. But it was less philosophical than 2, which I think was better. The collectibles in this game are superb! Overall 9.5/10, I really enjoyed this. XBOX 360: Metal Gear Solid HD Collection Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes

Two more completions to add. Spooky's House of Jump Scares is an indie game that made the round on YouTube awhile back. It was free so I downloaded it a few months ago and made slow progress here and there until I completed it yesterday evening. And Half-Life 2 has become an almost annual play for me and I just completed it a moment ago. Firewatch - PS4 (February 15, 2016) The Walking Dead - Michonne: Episode 1 - In Too Deep - Xbox 360 (March 3, 2016) Grand Theft Auto V - PS4 (March 21, 2016) Dying Light - PS4 (March 30, 2016) Dying Light: The Following - PS4 (April 6, 2016) The Walking Dead - Michonne: Episode 2 - Give No Shelter - Xbox 360 (April 22, 2016) The Walking Dead - Michonne: Episode 3 - What We Deserve - Xbox 360 (May 5, 2016) Spooky's House of Jump Scares - PC (May 18, 2016) Half-Life 2 - PC (May 19, 2016) |

Resident Evil 3: Nemesis has been beaten! Unfortunately, my friend absolutely refused to play on anything other than Easy Mode and, because of that, I felt like the challenge was non-existant (when Nemesis wasn't around). I'll have to play this for myself on Hard Mode before figuring out whether or not this is worth recommending, but that probably won't happen for a very long time. dunno if it could be called as finished since they add at least 3 songs a week, but I've successfully FCed every songs in Guitar Hero TV mode on Casual & Regular (minus TTFAF). that means 428 songs + 427 songs. It's going to be an ongoing project as weeks passes by until they stop supporting it.

Unless you can get it for a dollar (like me) or are into collecting Tiger handhelds, don't bother playing this. I suppose it's not the worst Tiger game in the world, but the fun doesn't last for long. Plus, the music is AWFUL! Sure those beeps have never made the "soundtrack" to these things pleasant, but they didn't even try with this one. Ai caramba...

So a bit of a long-overdue update for me, as I've finished a number of things since my last post. Table Top Racing (PSV) - Not to be a game-hipster - more just a note of coincidence... I actually played and completed this one just before any news broke out that the PS4 sequel Table Top Racing: World Tour was to be offered as a free PS Plus game for the month of May. Let me tell you... Table Top Racing is EXCELLENT!! It's the epitome of one of those hidden gems from a tiny indie developer, that does nothing but put a huge grin on your face as you play. So what about the game? Well, if you haven't played the PS4 sequel, just imagine a perfect blend of Mario Kart and Micro Machines, and this is what you'd get. Eagerly looking forward to zipping around in World Tour. Assassin's Creed III (PS3) - Meh. Gameplay was more or less enjoyable. That's all I can say. Severed (PSV) - Another AWESOME indie gem!! I'm not really into dungeon crawling, first-person perspective, nor touch-based games, but this one really knocked it out of the park!! Distinctive, almost trademark DrinkBox art-style infused with solid Metroid-vania-like dungeon design, and the touch-based multi-tasking gameplay/combat is very unique, and VERY fun! Between this, Table Top Racing, Life is Strange, and Splinter Cell: Blacklist, it's already going to be QUITE hard to pick a favorite game I've played this year! PulzAR (PSV) - My first truly "augmented reality" game... hopefully not my last? This was a tiny game that's been sitting on my PS Vita's memory card since, oh... 2012... and it wasn't until last night that I finally decided on a whim to give it a go. Really quite enjoyed this one... and it's a good thing there's only 25 puzzles, otherwise I probably wouldn't have gotten any sleep last night! (I was up until almost 4am, these puzzles were so addictive.) The only annoying bit was having to deal with the physical AR cards on your physical and well-lit playing surface... which means it's not possible to play this one in bed (where most of my Vita-playing occurs). games/DLC finished this year: 01/01 - PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate HD (100%) 01/11 - Splinter Cell: Blacklist (100%) 03/05 - Life is Strange (100%) 03/13 - Zombie Tycoon II: Brainhov's Revenge (100%) 03/19 - Chronovolt (100%) 03/26 - Run Sackboy! Managed to squeeze one more game completion in for the month of May... Surge Deluxe. An alright puzzle game... not really for me though, as it was much more about reflexes and much less about actual "puzzles". Then the "Explode 100,000 blocks" trophy for the 100% - that was just cruel... literally adding an extra 15 hours of mindless grinding to the enjoyable first ~5 hours spent playing this one. Another game down. Battlefield Hardline's single player campaign was very interesting and even riveting in its TV/cinematic style. I think this proves that a single player campaign could have been done for Battlefront but I'm sure that just came down to timing. They wanted it out in time to capitalize on The Force Awakens existence. Anyway, I won't be touching the multiplayer component so this one is in the books.
