Didn't find it as fun as the first and the final boss was a joke but overall a really good game and looking forward to playing number 3 now.

Great little micro machines type game, with combat eliminates thrown in to give it that Mario Kart feel. Finished first in all championships. Really enjoyed it. Whew! The amount of game over screens it took to reach the end credits is through the roof! The main protagonist might be a little kid in his pajamas, but the difficulty level is anything but child friendly. That said, it's definitely one of tougher games worth playing. It's become my second favorite Capcom game on the NES out of the four physical carts I own (beating Strider & Bionic Commando, but losing to Mega Man 2). Recommended for expert NES players that want something a bit unique in their 2d platformers.

Newbie Posts: 36 Group: Members Member #3,217 Joined: July 26, 2016	Well, I've finally beat a game this year... kind of. I got to the credits of Ridge Racer V on the PS2. That's the Grand Prix's beat on easy. Going to go after the Time Attack's now to unlock Duel Mode and get me some more cars. Last year I decided to work my way through as many PS2 games as possible in a rough chronological order. I beat both Tekken Tag Tournament and Timesplitters last year. I'm going to review them for here and GameFAQS as I go along too. Next up I'm probably going to work though SSX. PlayStation 2 Ridge Racer V

Funny how my list was overflowing with PS2 completions last year and yet I'm just on #2 so far this year. Guess this would have been the Wii's year if my controller still worked. Anyway, this is my seventh Mega Man X completion ever and, of all the games I've played in the series, this is the only game I thought was... okay. Just okay. Maybe leaning a teensy bit towards the good side, but nowhere near as good as those first four MMX games. While I do think it's a bit of a shame that the final MMX game (not counting Command Mission) went out on a bit of a whimper, at least it wasn't X5 or X6. Recommended only if you can find it for cheaper than what it goes for online. UPDATE (8/29/16): Two Game Boy Advance completions this time! The Powerpuff Girls: Mojo Jojo A-Go-Go and WarioWare: Twisted! have been beaten! At first, I was willing to call Powerpuff Girls a pretty good side-scrolling shooter with fun power-ups, but then some questionable level design came up during level 3 and got worse from there (save for level 4, which was actually pretty good. That and the difficulty being all over the place in the six levels pushed this game down to just average... and that's probably being generous. If anything, I can at least asdume it beats Chemical X-Traction on N64. WarioWare: Twisted!, on the other hand, was a blast to play from beginning to end. In fact, it might just be my second favorite game in the series (being beaten only by Smooth Moves). With the exception of Kat & Ana's stages, all microgames take advantage of the gyro sensor gimmick (which, by the way, works flawlessly) in fun and creative ways. Tie that together with the wacky humor these WarioWare games are known for and you have an absolute must have for the GBA. Highly recommended. Edited by EnvyFox, Aug 29 2016, 09:02 PM.

Mafia II GTA V (replay) Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm The reviews for it were only so-so, but I remember loving Mafia II. I liked all the period details, even though I know they took some creative liberties. I've been playing very little this summer and mostly havebeen cathcing up on TV-series. But today I completed another game for the 3DS: Kirby Planet Roboto had been completed (story). Did take longer than expected, specially the final boss. Really simple gameplay, but enjoyed it nontheless. WiiU Yoshi's Woolly World (feb 15th) Kirby and the Rainbow Paintbrush (feb 24th) 3DS Pokemon Y (mar 21st) Kirby: Planet Roboto (sep 7th)

Hot, hot HOT! @Envyfox: Goldeneye only on Agent? You can do better than that! 😄😃 Finished Turok: Dinosaur Hunter. Fantastic game, aged really well. That music. Oh man. Played through the 2nd level of Turok 2. Fantastic game, especially for its time. But bloody hell, time has not been so nice to his game. I appreciate the ambition and design and all of that, but the slowdown at times and size of the levels takes a toll. Might still persist a bit more, but more pumped about getting into Body Harvest. Conclusion: Turok 1 is amazing and as I thought for some time, I probably will play through this game once a decade. Keen to play Turok 3 again too, still need to play through Josephs story and THEN actually finish Turok Evolution... Shame I never finished that one 😑

I was never really that interested in it when it launched as I thought it couldn't compare to the original. It really is a good game though with just enough to make me think of the N64 game but being a fan of the film too its great to see it on another console with loads of defferences. A stand out level for me was the Frigate level, had loads of fun with that one & the final boss level so good too. The only problem I had with the game is even on hard its still quite easy, next time I play I will do so on Goldeneye classic mode which has health and Armour bars instead of regenerating health.

Established Member Posts: 145 Group: Established Members Member #3,249 Joined: August 25, 2016	So far, didn't do much gaming first half of the year been moving, funny enough got another house move end of October, gives me a chance to set up my gamers corner N64 Zelda OOT Zelda MM Goldeneye Perfect Dark Banjo Kazooie XBOne Dying Light Wolfenstein: The New Order Peggle Peggle 2 Pang Adventures Metro 2033 PS2 Greggory Horror Show Wii Zelda Twilight Princess Kirbys Epic Yarn C64 Dizzy Prince of Yolk Folk Dizzy Down the Rapids Pang Shadow of the Beast New Zealand Story The interesting part for me is the only games I haven't previously completed is Peggle 2 and Dying Light Set in my ways...
