Xbox - Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex Nintendo GameCube - Sonic R (100% completion) (played on Sonic Gems Collection) - Sonic the Hedgehog: Triple Trouble (played on Sonic Gems Collection) - Dragon Ball Z: Budokai - WarioWare Inc.: Mega PARTY Game$! Nintendo DS - Pokemon Black Version (main story) - Pokemon HeartGold Version (main story) - Mario Party DS (Story Mode) - Beyblade: Metal Masters (Arcade Mode) - Sonic Colors Xbox 360 - Prototype 2 - Splatterhouse Wii - Resident Evil Zero - Resident Evil (Chris and Jill scenarios) - Klonoa - Wario Land: Shake It! - Ghost Squad - Bully: Scholarship Edition Nintendo 3DS - LBX: Little Battlers eXperience - Pokemon Sun (main story) Wii U - Star Fox Zero Xbox One - Dragon Ball Xenoverse - WWE 2K16 (2K Showcase) - Battletoads Arcade (played on Rare Replay) Sonic Adventure has been beaten for the first time (by me) on the Dreamcast! Yes I've beaten the Director's Cut on GameCube a very long time ago (I'm talkin' early teen years), but never the original. Does it hold up? Not really. Well... not in a way that I can recommend this one to people easily. You have to regularly play games from this era that had similar problems (like terrible camera for starters) to really enjoy this one. For me, though, I had fun with most of it and I'm sure nostalgia played a wee bit of a role in that. In fact, out of the six playable characters (each with their own play styles), the only one I out right despised was Amy Rose thanks to her very sluggish movements and severe lack of actual levels to play in. Yes even Big the Cat's fishing (which I strongly believe shouldn't be in a Sonic game period) is more enjoyable to me and that's saying something. So, once again, not for everyone but I liked it. I enjoyed Sonic Adventure when I played it about 8 years ago or so. I don't even know if I got through Big the Cat's levels. Might have not even beat one. 😅 Finished Super Mario Sunshine. 85 Shines. Could have gone for more but I'm gonna run out of time on holidays before too long and I'm pretty keen to get into Galaxy 2. 🤗 |

I really struggled with the final boss but get it in the end. Completed loads of megadrive games this year and planned on getting through more in the new year ![]() Total games completed this year 31, not as good as the 46 from last year but I have a lot less free time these kids. Batman: The Brave and the Bold - The Video Game has been beaten and I have no problem labeling this beat 'em up platformer hybrid a hidden gem in the Wii library. Outside of not being able to lose to bosses (which is a HUGE flaw) and some other little annoyances, I love everything about this game and recommend it full on! So glad I chose to take a chance on this one when I saw it at Goodwill. And that brings my total 2016 completion count to... 46. Well below last year's count and there are a few reasons for that though the biggest might be a lack of games to beat in my skill range, but hey! At least I made history this year. Can you say first ever official Tiger handheld completion for this site? All jokes aside, I'm glad that this gaming year has been as good for you all as it has been for me and I can't wait to see what we will all accomplish in 2017. See ya there!

Is it possible to truly complete a tiger game? It would be like completing Tetris. But for real, that's a very good list for the year Envyfox, and everyone else above. For some reason it skipped my mind that counting my total would be a good idea. Thanks Envyfox. 57 new ones. Yikes. That's a ridiculous number, but also since I wasn't keeping track since the beginning of the year it was kinda hard to remember what I have beaten. With the new year I can keep track of everything more easily. All that said I probably will slow down this year, and by slow down this year I mean I beat two games already and will beat a third tomorrow. I guess I technically played them mostly in 2015 but technicalities and all that.

Surprisingly, yes you CAN beat a Tiger game. I took a picture of the victory screen and posted it on page 4, but I'll repost it here for convenience.![]() You can barely see it, but Kermit is holding a trophy. I really wasn't expecting an ending and, when I was given one, I thought it was too funny not to post it on here. I even pretended to make a big deal about it as you can see from my listing of it and it only got funnier when someone brought up it was the first Tiger handheld completion for the website. Who knew I'd make history?

Well I'll be. Serious props staying awake and beating the whole thing! I never played one for longer than 30 seconds so I figured there wasnt technically a win state for any of them. To make history next year you're gonna have to beat a whole cd-i game. |

Well, just like 2015, my 2016 kind of went out with a whimper, as I ended up not finishing anything throughout the final month of the year. But with all the travelling and just end-of-year business, I suppose that isn't really anything to be ashamed of. 2016 gaming self-survey: games (sans DLC) finished this year: 01/01 - PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate HD (100%) 01/11 - Splinter Cell: Blacklist (100%) 03/05 - Life is Strange (100%) 03/13 - Zombie Tycoon II: Brainhov's Revenge (100%) 03/19 - Chronovolt (100%) 03/26 - Run Sackboy! Run! (100%) 03/27 - Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD (100% trophies) 04/05 - Table Top Racing (100%) 05/16 - Assassin's Creed III (100%) 05/23 - Severed (100%) 05/25 - PulzAR (100%) 05/30 - Surge Deluxe (100%) 07/22 - Men's Room Mayhem (100%) 07/30 - BreakQuest: Extra Evolution (100%) 08/19 - Uncharted: Fight for Fortune (100%) 09/02 - Uncharted 4: A Thief's End (100%) 10/05 - Driver: San Francisco (100%) 10/14 - Batman: Arkham VR (100%) 10/19 - Wayward Sky (100%) 11/01 - Binary Domain (100%) 11/20 - Fat Princess - Piece of Cake (100% trophies 11/20, full 100% 12/04) A total of 21 games completed this year... up from 17 last year! And now for the various breakdowns... Handheld: 12 (2 were cross-play/buy, and I chose to play on handheld instead of on console) Console: 9 (1 was played entirely on handheld via remote-play)
Downloadable-only: 14 (or 13)... 6 in 2015 Indie: 11-ish... 9 in 2014 Free-to-play: 3 ESRB ratings:
And for a loosely-defined category breakdown:
In the end I feel like the theme for me in 2016 was handheld/mobile gaming... where I was drawn quite a bit to playing in bed (or wherever) whenever I had a choice instead of limited to just my couch... and getting sucked into the free-to-play world with not just my first f2p game, but my first THREE! 9-10 (almost half) of the games I finished this year had multiplayer portions, and one (Binary Domain) required an immense amount of online gameplay for the 100%. Only 2 of the completions were PSVR games, but they helped me buck my trend of only playing older titles... on PSNProfiles, I'm the 5th recorded person (in the world) to 100% Batman: Arkham VR, and the 2nd ( ) to 100% Wayward Sky! Time to see if I can keep my game completions increasing for 2017!!
