Alright, one more time people. I'm on a roll here. Name your top 3 video game developers based on your favoritism towards the games they have made, past and present, as well as likelihood of things to come. First and third party both count and these can be both current and defunct companies. Some examples include Ubisoft, Sega, Rare, EA, Nintendo, Naughty Dog, Rockstar, Polyphony, Bungie, Midway, etc. Feel free to justify your choices below your list. Here we go! 1. Titus (haha just kidding) 1. Rockstar 2. Rare 3. EA IMO, Rockstar is a force that cannot be stopped with the GTA franchise, Rare was the N64 golden child, but might as well be dead which is a shame, and EA has shaken my faith with their focus on microtransactions, but on the whole, they still produce some solid titles. @Bamboozled: LJN?!?!?!? In my incredibly subjective opinion (and exclusive of Nintendo): 1) Platinum--Best company going 2) Treasure--Best company that went 3) Konami--For its incredible contributions to the NES and SNES library. |

Here are mine: -Nintendo -Bioware -Blizzard On the note of Konami, I would say that they were good back in the day but have become such a terrible mess of a company that it takes away all the good point they gained in the past. |

Square Enix - for my all-time favorite game: Final Fantasy VII Rockstar - for continued GTA excellence Valve - for giving me the amazing Half-Life 2 which begat one of my all-time favorite gaming experiences: Garry's Mod (oh, and that Steam thing) Honorable Mentions: Ubisoft - I still dig the Far Cry games and hope to get fully enveloped into Assassin's Creed eventually Team Ico - makers of my second all-time favorite game, Shadow of the Colossus and (finally) the long awaited The Last Guardian CD Projekt - The Witcher, anyone? Also, they created gog.com which is a wonderful game distribution system much like Valve's Steam only aimed mostly at classic PC games Pandemic Studios (defunct) - they may be gone but not forgotten for Mercenaries, the original Star Wars: Battlefront games, Destroy All Humans! Bethesda - its Bethesda Edited by The Red Shadow, Mar 3 2016, 04:15 PM.

That's Tough, excluding the big ones (rare, Nintendo, konami) 3. Midway (blitz, cruiz'n) 2. Psynosis (colony wars) 1. Wasp (d, enemy zero) only reason for wasp is because of the prank them and sega pulled on Sony during a trade show |
N64 forever starfox 64 champion "Im an elephant" - Conker Both the n64 and the ps4 have 64 bit processors. Now I'm not saying the 64 could run crysis at 60 fps but I'm not saying it couldn't. 115 games 2 consoles 6 controllers | |
