Miitomo has been described more as a social networking platform than a game (and a quirky one at that). Nevertheless, we are generally a bunch of unapologetic Nintendo fanboys who will likely give any free Nintendo game a whirl. I've downloaded the app from the iTunes app store and designed by Mii (this is my third generation Mii, btw, starting with the Wii, then , etc.) I'm not sure how to add friends if I'm not on Facebook, Twitter or do not encounter a like-minded user, but perhaps, I'll figure this out. Are you keen on giving Miitomo some play? Have you downloaded it? Thoughts/tips?

Sorry, Nintendo, but you don't create a social media network to be reliant on others. I hope they can make this better; I'm kind of disappointed. I want to like it, but I can't really.

The flower question (how many flowers/girlfriends) sums up what I think is wrong with it though. Reminds me of a question you would ask in junior school.

She was begging me to let her answer, not really appreciating (or caring) her answers would be assigned to my persona. (No, Clarence is NOT my favorite cartoon, DOH). So I tried to make her a Miitomo account using her actual birthday . . . and it was rejected. Kids cannot have accounts. I guess Big N is really counting on those micro-transactions. . . .
