This thread is dedicated to reviews and ratings of game shops that members here have patronized. These can either be local shops you frequent or even places you have come across in your travels. Everyone is encouraged to write reviews in order for this thread to be as comprehensive as possible. When rating selection and pricing, state whether each is poor, average, good, or excellent. If you don't know one of them, just put N/A. Each generation also includes their respective handheld consoles.

When posting, please use the following format:

Name:
City:
State/Province:
Country:

Pre-Third Gen Gaming (Atari, etc)
Selection:
Pricing:

Third Gen Gaming (NES, etc.)
Selection:
Pricing:

Fourth Gen Gaming (SNES, Genesis, etc)

Pricing:

Fifth Gen Gaming (N64, PS, Saturn, etc)

Sixth Gen Gaming (Xbox, PS2, GCN, DC, etc)

So I'll kick it off with a local shop I go to frequently...

Name: Reaction Games
City: South Bend
State/Province: Indiana
Country: USA

Pre-Third Gen Gaming (Atari, etc)
Selection: Poor
Pricing: Good

Third Gen Gaming (NES, etc.)
Selection: Good
Pricing: Average

Fourth Gen Gaming (SNES, Genesis, etc)
Selection: Excellent
Pricing: Average

Fifth Gen Gaming (N64, PS, Saturn, etc)
Selection: Average
Pricing: Average

Sixth Gen Gaming (Xbox, PS2, GCN, DC, etc)
Selection: Good
Pricing: Good

Seventh Gen Gaming (360, PS3, Wii, etc)
Selection: Good
Pricing: Average

Eighth Gen Gaming (One, PS4, Wii U, etc)

General Thoughts: A great place to hang out and talk video games. Very friendly staff that also does repairs. Atmosphere makes up for slightly higher prices. Local shop owned by brothers who love video games.
Overall Rating: 9/10

Pre-Third Gen Gaming (Atari, etc)
Selection: NA
Pricing: NA

Third Gen Gaming (NES, etc.)
Selection: NA
Pricing: NA

Fourth Gen Gaming (SNES, Genesis, etc)
Selection: NA
Pricing: NA

Fifth Gen Gaming (N64, PS, Saturn, etc)
Selection: NA
Pricing: NA

Sixth Gen Gaming (Xbox, PS2, GCN, DC, etc)
Selection: Very Poor
Pricing: Good
Note: They only very rarely have a bad PS2 game.

Seventh Gen Gaming (360, PS3, Wii, etc)
Selection: Decent
Pricing: Average

Eighth Gen Gaming (One, PS4, Wii U, etc)
Selection: Amazing
Pricing: Retail price

General Thoughts: The store only carries 7th and 8th generation games. The 7th generation games are barely cheaper than an eBay price. There are no outstanding games that are generally there, but occasionally a gem can be found. 8th generation games are at retail price and come in a great variety. The staff are nice and will usually help you to find games and answer questions.
Overall Rating: 8.0

Pre-Third Gen Gaming (Atari, etc)
Selection: Poor

Third Gen Gaming (NES, etc.)
Selection: Very Good
Pricing: Very Good

Fourth Gen Gaming (SNES, Genesis, etc)
Selection: Very Good
Pricing: Good

Fifth Gen Gaming (N64, PS, Saturn, etc)
Selection: Average
Pricing: Excellent

Sixth Gen Gaming (Xbox, PS2, GCN, DC, etc)
Selection: Very Good (Except for GCN, DC)
Pricing: Good

Seventh Gen Gaming (360, PS3, Wii, etc)
Selection: Good
Pricing: Good

Eighth Gen Gaming (One, PS4, Wii U, etc)
Selection: Good
Pricing: Very Good

General Thoughts: Midwest chain of stores. Prices are especially good here on N64 games and most consoles. Severely lacking in older gen accessories. Great selection for 360, PS2, and Xbox games, but others are more limited. N64 selection is extremely limited but gems occasionally come in for dirt cheap. Also sell DVDs/Blurays.
