Veteran Posts: 2,311 Group: Legendary Member #1,535 Joined: May 27, 2013	It's going to be released for all consoles (PS4/xbox/Wiiu and PC) as a Backer I was able to play the pre-alpha Toybox version. and it plays exactly like a BK game. few ' wall jump' glitches but other then that it feels like a 'Classic-Rare-game'

I dont think its getting a physical release anywhere unless you backed on kickstarter more than $300 They are making an N64 cartridged with a 64GB flash drive internally which has a copy of Yooka Laylee.

I backed it and am getting the collector's edition, which is a physical version that I got at around $200. Outside of the kickstarter idk if there is going to be a physical release. =/

I mean it happened with Killer instinct on XBONE, I don't think they expected the reception they got!

It was the only thing on left Wii-u to look forward too. And the Wii-u could have really used a more open 3-d platformer. I guess the Switch is getting a good launch game now at least. The most frustrating part is that while they said they are bringing it to the Switch they don't actually have a release date for it... At the very least it is coming out after all the other version which sucks.

Jim Sterling also isn't a valid review source. EDIT: To extrapolate a little on this, the negative reviews are people who don't get what this game was meant to be. It's Banjo Threeie, for good and bad. The people who get that, love it, and say it's a perfect nostalgia trip. Currently out of state working and I only have my laptop which is 9 years old and can barley play any games. Ill let you know in a month what I think of this game.
