Hey Guys, I Built an arcade machine a little while back but due to work being done in my house I had to take it apart and store it for a while. I've now got a lot of the work finished and my game room is starting to look fairly acceptable so I am in a position where I can put it back together but it's currently just matt black. I was looking at painting it rather than buying decals for it just to make it a bit more personal. Due to the way it is set up because I have done it myself I can hook it up to run off pretty much any console or even a PC so the theme doesn't need to be dedicated to a specific game but it could be. I was thinking of maybe going for an 8-bit era design due to simplicity. I've also for a friend that could make a 16 bit sprite of me using photoshop the first would be like a simple paint by colours exercise and the second would be similar but much much more complex due to the additional colours needed and the fact there is a LOT more detail in it. Do you guys have any ideas and if you had one what would you have on the side of yours? |
