Time to talk about some great overworlds.
Mine is Spiral Mountain \Grunty's Lair in Banjo Kazooie. Just the music brings me back.
And if it counts, Stillwater from Saints Row 2. Its more of a open world though. :dk:

As a kid, I would have said Fungi Forest in DK64, but when I played it again this year I wasn't as fond of that level. Still love Frantic Factory though.

By Overworld, I meant like a hub world.

.
Basically every Zelda game has an amazing one.

Rares ones are all good too.
The Banjo games, but especially Nuts and Bolts absolutely nailed it I thought.
Graphichaly beautiful, especially the backgrounds which were so detailed and made me wish I could explore it all one day, and is that Mad Monster Mansion way off in the background on the hill??? No way!?

Oh abd Kameo and Starfox Adventures and Super Mario 64 4 and Sunshine...so many!
