Endure and survive... Posts: 6,726 Group: Admin Member #48 Joined: December 4, 2006	First off 3 things.... 1. I am a huge Fallout fan 2. I am an avid reader. Probably read a couple dozen post apocalyptic novels in the last two years alone. 3. I am and have been a prepper for many years. Needless to say, In the boredom that sometimes comes with staring at an empty car lot for several hours a day, I have often considered many scenarios. If I had access to my own property I would be off to a good start. I have stockpiled food, water purification equipment, first aid supplies, hygiene supplies, topical survival books (ranging from general survival and first aid to plant identification and guides on preparing and butchering wild game), firearms, ammunition, and other various survival necessities. If I was emerging from a vault though, I doubt I would have access to my old stuff. So it comes down to reestablishing the basic human needs. The first thing I would do is to seek out a way to defend myself/family. After that I would seek out access to shelter, food, water, fire, and medical attention. I would avoid groups whenever possible. I would not be afraid of trading with others, but would definitely try to avoid crazy people/factions. The most important thing to me is knowledge and experience. It is nice to have access to several bic lighters in your bag, but can you build a fire without them? Starving? No wild game in sight? It pays to know what is edible and what isn't. Give me a nice cave in the middle of nowhere

That dude Posts: 720 Group: Senior Members Member #2,945 Joined: December 26, 2015	I have firearms. I can get what else I need with those.....I am also down for an N64 survival group. Goldeneye for shooting skills and Mario Kart to keep the reflexes sharp lol.
