Those chrome controllers look flawless! Congrats!

So, how does it feel to help rewrite the history of these items?
I gotta say I'm still in shock it really goes to show that anyone can be watching your YouTube videos and never give up because you never know what the future will bring you.

Congratulations Conker, very generous of them indeed! Thanks for sharing with everybody. It's amazing to see them all together! Not for me personally, but have they given any updates regarding when they will be auctioning off any other leftover merchandise? I can only imagine this will whet collectors appetites for the search of the remaining controllers in the set.

Wow.

FoxData found a way to brand their work...
Do you know if they also did this with any of the controllers? Perhaps on ithe inside?
I'm not sure to be honest I believe they just did the stickers on what they are selling now my other set doesn't have anything on them

@Vinyl: LOL, yeah. You'd think that a separate custom controller maker could chrome dip them cheaper than that, especially if they see there is a collector market willing to pay that.

Gents, at those prices, I want to stress Caveat Emptor (buyer beware). This community is a place of love, knowledge and information about all things N64. So many of you are building and/or dream of building amazing collections highlighted by the rarest of the rare. But that can be exploited (as was the case with the fake E3 controllers). I make no judgments about FOXDATA but if you are going to spend 250 pounds ($310 USD) or more, please be sure of what you are buying.

I think their pricing is too high also but they're selling for the price the market has dictated. I won't be buying them either but they sure are sexy as hell!!

BDR is making a legitimate point, exercise caution when spending big money.

For what it is worth I think it is a genuine story, they are selling off the stock highly priced because once they are out there, they are out there, and they will have none left. But I'm not suggesting go and buy one. If you're inteterested enough, just do some more homework.

It's fine that some members think these are overpriced, it is a rare collectors item after all. Even I am a bit baffled but hey, no need to spread wild conspiracies. Up until now everything factual that has happened speaks for Foxdata.

The point I'm making is that these are NOT official licensed products. They are custom controllers, and there are many custom controller makers out there. I literally do not see the difference between whether you buy a chrome controller from a Foxdata or another 3rd party that could probably undercut their price. Someone please explain to me why being a custom controller maker 20 years ago is more sought after than a custom controller maker today?

They are the real foxdata. I posted this as a hey look at the amazing things that happened after years of wanting questions answered I am now able to answer then with the help of the founder of foxdata. The market dictates the price if you don't like it no one is forcing you to buy them before I ever got my gift from the CEO I told everyone that they would not be damaging the price these controllers go for so it's not like this was new news when they sent prices.

Anyway this is the final comment I will be making regarding this
