Wow. I've really been slacking, huh? Not just in game completions (no way am I reaching last year's numbers at this point) but also with my updates. Well here are all of the games I've beat since June I believe and, to save time, I'm just going to give one or two short sentences on my though of each game. Sega Genesis - Sonic 3 & Knuckles (as Sonic w/ Tails) PlayStation - NEW Rugrats: Search for Reptar (100% I think) Nintendo 64 - Mischief Makers (all yellow gems collected) Game Boy Color - NEW Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker PlayStation 2 - Capcom Fighting Evolution (no rounds lost) - Street Fighter III: Third Strike (played on Street Fighter Anniversary Collection) - Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millenium 2001 Xbox - NEW Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (Light Side ending) Nintendo DS - Pokemon Pearl Version Wii - The King of Fighters '94 (as Fatal Fury Team) (played on The King of Fighters Collection: The Orochi Saga) - The King of Fighters '95 (as Fatal Fury Team) (played on The King of Fighters Collection: The Orochi Saga) - The King of Fighters '96 (as Fatal Fury Team) (played on The King of Fighters Collection: The Orochi Saga) - The King of Fighters '97 (as Fatal Fury Team) (played on The King of Fighters Collection: The Orochi Saga) - The King of Fighters '98: The Slugfest (as Fatal Fury Team) (played on The King of Fighters Collection: The Orochi Saga) - Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers - NEW Metal Slug (played on Metal Slug Anthology) Xbox 360 - Resident Evil: Revelations - NEW Silent Hill: Homecoming (good ending) Nintendo 3DS - Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon (all missions + all Boos captured) - NEW Kirby: Triple Deluxe Xbox One - Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (no continues used) - Mortal Kombat XL (Story + Arcade Ladder) - NEW Mega Man (played on Mega Man Legacy Collection) Nintendo Switch - NEW Sonic Mania - NEW Super Mario Odyssey Rugrats: Search for Reptar - Controls aged too poorly to recommend to newcomers but those with nostalgia ties to the game may still enjoy it (like I did!). Kirby: Triple Deluxe - My new favorite Kirby game. A must buy for any fan of platformers. Mega Man - My least favorite of the six games on the LC but still a lot of fun on it's own merits. Sonic Mania - My new second favorite Sonic game. The team they got to do this game needs to do every 2d Sonic game from here on out. Metal Slug - Classic run n' gun arcade action without having to sacrifice rolls of quarters. I love this series. Silent Hill: Homecoming - A really solid action game (save for some glitches) but an awful Silent Hill game. Definitely the weakest of the three SH games I've beaten so far. Super Mario Odyssey - My pick of Game of the Year 2017! Possibly my favorite 3d style Mario game. If you're getting a Switch this holiday season, make sure this game gets purchased with it. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic - One of the best RPGs I've ever played. I give a very slight edge to it's sequel KOTOR II when comparing the two but, really, both games are very much worth owning. Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker - The only new addition to my lists that I straight up did not like. I heard the N64 version is even worse which means that one must be WCW Backstage Assault levels of awful. |

![]() Wow what a beautiful and fun game. Super simple, you move left and right and can use coins with the down arrow. That's it three buttons, but it took me a couple failed attempts to beat this game. It's a castle resource management game where you can build and army, builders, and farmers to grow your castle and fight off these weird dark creatures that attack every night. If you can destroy all the monsters portals then you win. If they knock your crown off you loose. simple fun, beautiful. a must play NES Ninja Gaiden Super Mario Bros 3 N64 Mario Kart 64 Super Smash Bros. - Very Hard Switch Arms The Binding of Isaac Afterbirth+ Mario Kart 8 Deluxe - All Gold Cups, All 3 Star Finishes Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle Super Bomberman R Ultra Street Fighter 2: The Final Challengers Mobile Super Mario Run Toy Defense 2 PC 100% Orange Juice 1 Heart Black Mesa Half-Life 2: Lost Coast Hitman: Absolution Jazzpunk: Directors Cut - Unlocked All Achievements NEW Kingdom: Classic Left 4 Dead 2 Lethal League Metal Slug Metal Slug 3 Metal Slug X PAC-MAC Champion Edition DX+ - Unlocked All Achievments Ridge Racer: Unbounded This is the Police Tropico 3 Tropico 4 Tropico 4: Modern Times Tropico 5 Worms Reloaded XBox 360 Marvel Vs. When you get the really fast cars it can be difficult to see traffic coming and sometimes impossible to see the spike strips the police put down. This is more than likely the last game I will finish this year so my total is 46 better than the 31 of last year.Edit Managed to finish borderlands so snuck another in 47 for the year.

Well another year has come and gone and, while my completion count of 29 games pales in comparison to previous years, I can honestly say it was a fun ride. Sega Genesis - Sonic 3 & Knuckles (as Sonic w/ Tails) PlayStation - Rugrats: Search for Reptar (100%) Nintendo 64 - Mischief Makers (all yellow gems collected) Game Boy Color - Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker PlayStation 2 - Capcom Fighting Evolution (no rounds lost) - Street Fighter III: Third Strike (played on Street Fighter Anniversary Collection) - Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millenium 2001 Xbox - Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (Light Side ending) Nintendo DS - Pokemon Pearl Version Wii - The King of Fighters '94 (as Fatal Fury Team) (played on The King of Fighters Collection: The Orochi Saga) - The King of Fighters '95 (as Fatal Fury Team) (played on The King of Fighters Collection: The Orochi Saga) - The King of Fighters '96 (as Fatal Fury Team) (played on The King of Fighters Collection: The Orochi Saga) - The King of Fighters '97 (as Fatal Fury Team) (played on The King of Fighters Collection: The Orochi Saga) - The King of Fighters '98: The Slugfest (as Fatal Fury Team) (played on The King of Fighters Collection: The Orochi Saga) - Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers - Metal Slug (played on Metal Slug Anthology) Xbox 360 - Resident Evil: Revelations - Silent Hill: Homecoming (good ending) Nintendo 3DS - Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon (all missions + all Boos captured) - Kirby: Triple Deluxe - NEW Pokémon Sun (post-game story) Wii U - NEW Mighty No. 9 (main story + Ray stage DLC) Xbox One - Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (no continues used) - Mortal Kombat XL (Story + Arcade Ladder) - Mega Man (played on Mega Man Legacy Collection) - NEW Mega Man 2 (played on Mega Man Legacy Collection) - NEW Mega Man 3 (played on Mega Man Legacy Collection) Nintendo Switch - Sonic Mania - Super Mario Odyssey Pokémon Sun's post-game story was no Delta Episode but I enjoyed being able to fly from island to island catching Ultra Beasts (which I didn't expect to be possible). Best of all, they weren't roaming from place to place like previous Pokémon games. They would just choose a location or two to attack and stay there. And, of course, it was nice to see ol' Detective Looker again. Moving on to Mighty No. 9, I wanted to say this game was good but, to be honest, it's just average. It shows signs of brilliance here and there but then completely shoots itself in the foot with some pretty uninteresting level design (save for those final three stages), glaring framerate issues and an absolutely terrible "ending" (if you can call it that). Would be totally forgettable had it not been for the incredible music and the whole Kickstarter fiasco it's famous for. Still, I think all of the "Worst of 2016" awards it recieved were a little undeserved. There were far worse games released in 2016 than this. Finally, we have Mega Man 2 and 3. This is the second time I've beaten MM3 and the fourth time I've beaten Mega Man 2 but the first time I've beaten both on the Legacy Collection. What else can I say that hasn't been said already? They're classics and were a reminder of how great MN9 could have been. Oh and, IMO, the Mecha Dragon and Boobeam Trap far surpass the Yellow Devil from MM1 in terms of annoying bosses. I'd love to say 2018 will be a better year for me as far as completion quantity goes but, truth be told, I'm already starting to send boxes of my things down to Florida for my move there later this year and some of my video game stuff have already been packed up which limits my options a bit. Still, here's hoping everyone else has a terrific completion list by the time 2018 comes to a close. I'll be watching.

Destruction Derby 64 - N64 (January 4, 2017) Watch Dogs - PS4 (January 10, 2017) Final Fantasy XV - PS4 (February 15, 2017) Sniper Elite 4 - PS4 (February 22, 2017) Resident Evil 7 - PS4 (March 8, 2017) Horizon: Zero Dawn - PS4 (April 6, 2017) Mass Effect: Andromeda - PS4 (May 8, 2017) Outlast via Outlast Trinity - PS4 (May 17, 2017) Outlast: Whistleblower via Outlast Trinity - PS4 (May 17, 2017) Everybody's Gone to the Rapture - PS4 (May 25, 2017) The Vanishing of Ethan Carter - PS4 (June 7, 2017) Rime - PS4 (June 21, 2017) Batman: Return to Arkham - Arkham Asylum - PS4 (June 28, 2017) So I was away for awhile as my internet was shut off in July and I didn't get it turned back on until last week. The benefit for me was that I had plenty of time to go all in on some PS4 gaming for almost 6 months and I knocked out some time consuming games. I didn't notate the dates I completed the following titles so I'll just list out what I finished: Batman: Return to Arkham - Arkham City Mafia III Watch Dogs 2 The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition L.A. Noire Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition |
