I've been thinking about buying the Sega Megadrive console with the 80 installed games on it. Looks like there are some classics. Looking to store it for my boy, who's only 1 currently, but this and the NES one I reckon would be great starting points for gaming when he gets a bit older.

Anyone have any experience with any of the classic consoles that have the built in games?

The sound emulation is usually bad, but the games play well enough.

Also only 40 of the games are Mega Drive/Genesis games; they padded the rest with generic games. That being said, being able to plug in actual cartridges too is a plus :)

Also genuine controllers are a must as the bundled controllers are meant to be pretty bad.

So are you saying that you can play megadrive cartridge games with the console? This would be great if so!!
