Established Member Posts: 166 Group: Established Members Member #3,173 Joined: June 19, 2016	Let's talk about gaming series that get no love. One of them is Ape Escape, which I almost never hear about when people talk about 3D platformers. I have the second one on my Ps4 and I love it

The Shockmaster Posts: 927 Group: Senior Members Member #3,226 Joined: August 3, 2016	Glad you are enjoying your ps4! I played the second Ape Escape on ps2 last year. I think they are well known amoung PlayStation fans but they aren't as popular nowadays as stuff like Jak & Daxter and Ratchet and Clank which is unfortuante. I like the dual analog controls and the unique setup of having to chase monkeys. I hate having to get literally every monkey just to reach the monkey though. As for other series, sometimes it's hard to tell what is truly underrated. People always bring up Goemon, Klonoa, Bonk, etc. but they all have large vocal fan bases amoung retro gamers, just not the general public. I also only qualify games with at least 3 games to be a series. There are tons of great 1 off games or games with only 2 entries that never became a series

No one seems to care about it anymore Panzer dragoon sega saturn - outside of sega fans no one knows these games Colony wars for ps1 - The best space combat games of all time Atari jaguar.... Ummm... pitfall Mayan adventure? White men can't jump? Scratch that I got nothing.
	N64 forever starfox 64 champion "Im an elephant" - Conker Both the n64 and the ps4 have 64 bit processors. Now I'm not saying the 64 could run crysis at 60 fps but I'm not saying it couldn't. 115 games 2 consoles 6 controllers

Endure and survive... Posts: 6,726 Group: Admin Member #48 Joined: December 4, 2006	I can't think of any series of games per say... but as for individual games N64 - Road Rash. I still enjoy playing it! Sure it looked like an unpolished turd, but it was FUN! PS2 - Gun. Sure it was received well, but I have never played a game start to finish so many times in my life. An early peek at what RDR became. PS3 - Saboteur. What an amazing blend of GTA, Assassin's Creed, and Hitman.
