Hay all :-)

Gonna get myself an Everdrive but there's 2, the v2.5 and the v3 (differences below) and non of ghte v3 are anythign im fussed about, except im not sure what the purpose the RTC would serve, is it really worth the extra 50?

thx for ya time and help everyone :-)

What has been updated for the Everdrive 64 V3:

256Kbyte battery RAM (Save RAM) Now the N64 doesn't need to be reset to save the game
RTC (real time clock)
Game pak saves does not require reset
SD card can be pushed in and pushed out
USB port with speeds of 800k - 1Mbyte/s. (USB port useful for developers)

I think the RTC is to be able to play Animal Crossing.

I would pay the extra just for not needing to reset to save.

I agree with getting v3 because of not having to reset. Seems unnatural to have to do so. Also, I'd imagine support going forward will be focused on V3. Like, "Here's a new OS for ED64, let us know if it works on your old hardware". Okay, maybe it wouldn't be that bad, but V3 is a final product if I ever saw one.

Hello! Question about emulators for Everdrive 64.
How does the flash cartridge work with support of NES, PC Engine & Gameboy emulators? Do they work normally and generally what percentage of supported games?

As I understand it only NES games can be emulated and not all of them. I could be wrong though.

Yep same reason I bought the v3 and paid the extra 50. Well worth it IMO.
