Does anyone have this box by any chance? I've been searching for about a year and cannot seem to find one.

I have the super Mario, mario kart, and star fox red PC variant boxes and need this one to complete my Goldeneye set.

it's not red. it's just a sticker slapped onto a regular box AFAIK.

There is a YouTube video of some guy opening up a new one. It's a red label box with the PC sticker and the game of the year sticker. Also some guy on another forum said he got one in the mail but didn't post pics.

So it's a PC sticker and a game of the year sticker placed on a regular box?

On the 28th August 1998, a second wave of N64 Players Choice titles was announced for the USA. These were the following four games:
- Diddy Kong Racing
- GoldenEye 007
- Kobe Bryant in NBA Courtside
- WCW vs NWO: World Tour

What seemingly happened was that PC stickers were sent out to be placed over existing stock that Nintendo currently had in their warehouses, while all future print runs would incorporate the PC logo into newly designed boxes. In this case the stickers were put on top of the cellophane, which was typically thrown out by the buyers, and that is why they are so hard to find these days. For NBA Courtside, it would appear that no more print runs were made, so these sealed copies are the only PC variants that exist. It is likely DKR and WCW: World Tour have similar over the seal PC variants, but these will also be hard to find as they will have to be A) a copy from late Q3 / early Q4 1998 and B) still sealed, or partly sealed by the original owner.

Here's that YouTube video for anyone interested the topic:

Good luck on your search, and be sure to post pictures here when you find a copy :yeah:

at 0:31, you can see the box code is unchanged. this is why I say there's no Goldeneye box with a printed PC on it, otherwise the box code would have a -1 at the end of it.

I've search for it for year and I've come to the same conclusion as danilochka, slapped sticker.

I have a Sealed Kobe Bryant game coming that has the PC sticker on it. the PC sticker is partly ripped so it's on the outside of the plastic wrap. I'll have to find a sealed copy of goldeneye to get that red PC variant but I doubt anymore of them exist and it'll take a miracle to find one. If the individual stores put the stickers on the boxes themselves, I think that's cooler than them coming directly with the PC label on them from Nintendo.

Thank you everyone for the info.

ok so I might have jump to some conclusion faster than I should have but check this out. https://www.kijiji.ca/v-old-video-games/ville-de-quebec/nintendo-64-plus-jeux-et-accessoires/1310332761 photo #2

that can't be a sticker and I might have mixed things up with another game.

Here's a red label Goldeneye with PC sticker. They are pretty tough to find but don't seem to command any price difference. You only see them sealed since it's the sticker.

Nice find jonebone!

Although interestingly, this copy doesn't seem to also include the game of the year sticker. Does that make two variants?

I think the GOTY version is the one with the Gold PC ribbon.
The Red PC version is the leftover games slapped with a sticker on it.
