I currently live in Victoria, and I am looking to buy from a store that actually knows what they are doing. Cash Converters throw out the boxes (at least my one did) from complete games, and there are barely an retro gaming stores, if any.

If anyone can help me out, that would be great!

Agreed Facebook groups are a great way to find games especially gems, eliminate all the eBay crap and also network with like-minded folk.

Gumtree is good aswell you can come up to there address and check the games aka for fakes, if all seems good, then a good deal is made by the buyer between seller and pick up the games.

Hey mate, there's a new retro gaming stall happening in Melbourne every 3 months called gogame market. Last one was a few weeks back and was very successful.

https://gogameout.com/

As a brick & mortar, nothing really apart from cashies, round again in Coburg (old record and games store, decent but very pricey) and there's a store in Bayswater that is absolutely disgusting called Game Garage.

Send an inbox if your after anything as I do a bit of reselling to fund my collection.

Australia-wide Facebook groups are your best and most convenient option. You've got your usual Pawn Shops, Op Shops and Cashies. Savers is another option too, but all those can be hit and miss.

There aren't many specialist retro stores here in Melbourne which are 1. Prevalent and 2. Worth going to.
