Hello everyone. I’ve decided to create a new gallery as it seemed easy to start from scratch as opposed to amending the existing and very pictureless gallery (admin please feel free to remove the old one or send to the archives / trash).

Here we have my N64 game collection. I’ve been on the forum since 2014 and this is where my journey of collecting began. I have always been fond of the N64 ever since playing a friends way back when, and for Christmas 1998, my parents bought me upon request, the Goldeneye edition which was for sale in the now defunct Woolworths store. I still own my original and all my original games and it is something I’m ever so proud of. In 2014 though, when I finally graduated from university, had been in stable employment for a few years and started to have more money in my pockets, I decided to start collecting N64 games. This initially began with collecting games I’d never played on the system and this very quickly snowballed into an ambition of collecting a full UK PAL game library (239 games).

Below we have a full UK PAL N64 game collection. All pretty much VGC to mint, all complete with manuals, leaflets, cart baggies, posters, maps, warranty cards etc. I also have about 20 or so North American exclusives plus the three NTSC games that did get a PAL release but only in Australia, Starcraft 64, Snowboard Kids 2 and Ken Giffrey’s Major League Baseball. I also have the Aus variant HSV Adventure Racing. Of the 20 or so NTSC exclusives I own, I have some very tastey CIB games including Clay Fignter Sculptor’s Cut, Indiana Jones & The Infernal Machine & Harvest Moon 64. I also have one NTSC-J Japan exclusive Sin & Punishment.

I also have some consoles in my collection which I will show at a later date. Without further waffle, please see a few pics of the collection, all proudly displayed in my games room. It really is a breath of fresh air seeing these and holding the games. I do go for a swim in there from time to time.

I do have a YouTube video where I talk through a fair few of my games feel free to check it out!

It has been an enjoyable journey and an amazing feeling when you finally reach your goal. I don’t have anything else in the pipeline I now plan on enjoying what I have and saving or deploying more of my disposable income elsewhere which will help me as life goes on and I mature (children in the future to come hopefully etc).

Thanks for looking. Comments and questions welcomed.

Thanks for the positive comments guys I really appreciate it. It’s nice to be able to finally show it to you and in complete form. Been a long time coming.

@Cananon - Yeah it’s meant to be. I always wanted a glass cabinet similar to this as they look smart. Picked this up from IKEA and it’s just perfect! Fits everything in. Just don’t have the capacity to expand (I.e snag some more NTSC exclusives) so something to either accept and purchase no more like I have done for now, or think of something else for overspill.

Thanks for making us cry! :P
Well i wish i had this closet in my room! lol
Great work man.. congratulations!

Some general comments..
I think is great that you still own your original stuff.. When we were kids we might throw the boxes, destroy them, sell the games or whatever.. You bought the 1080 player's choise back in the day? I think that's the reason to be up there!
It seems that when you started collecting back in 2014, it was the right time..
The 239 UK Pal games seemed a normal goal in my opinion.. i loved the fact though that you went after those 'tastey' NTSC and JAP games..
I mean that you made wise decisions..
I think that the decision to buy Clay Fignter Sculptor’s Cut had to be difficult.. because tof the crazy price and the repro stuff out there..
I remember all your complete funtastic consoles.. i m pretty sure we ll see them a bit later..
Planning to see the whole video..
The journey ended but it was awesome.. maybe now you can enjoy playing some games you haven't even tested..
Also you can do something pretty nice for collecting purposes..
You said that your games are complete with leaflets, posters, warranty cards etc. Are the right ones though? You are sure 100% only when you buy a sealed game.. people tend to add them from different games.. This is something i ve discussed with Danilochka because he is an expert.. hope to see a lot of information in the N-Cyclopedia.. maybe you could contribute with your complete PAL collection..

Sorry for my bad English!

Thanks for the comments guys!

@breading_fear

-I bought a black boarder 1080 back in the day.

-SC was a hard decision of course, it is a lot of money. But it is and always will be quite a collector’s piece and I didn’t want it to go into the wrong hands. I was never in doubt it was legitimate I did all the necessary due diligence before parting with any money. I bought it off a collector amongst a lot of other games who collected during the 2000s. He made an insane return on Clay Fighter SC!!!!!

-I am not 100% sure on the paperwork situation but I look on eBay or ask others who have mint like new copies of games and see what paperwork they have, and then make sure mine had that before I bought it, or if it didn’t, that I put spares in, as a lot of paperwork like Nintendo do Reg cards, Konami cards etc were just universal, so you can cut and gut them from spare games etc. I have spoke to Danilochka myself about it and of course some may be missing things but I am happy the bulk are as they should be. I too am looking forward to the N-Cyclopesdia.

I have offered my help on the N-Cyclopedia. But we have a saying in England, “too many cooks spoil the broth”. By that we mean, too many people can make a project worse rather than better. I respect the decision and will happy to contribute any pictures or input when asked. I have a pretty solid collection I would be surprised if they didn’t want to feature any of it in this book. I would feel privileged to be in there somewhere, even a picture and a reference.
