Hello everyone,

My name is Richard, i live in Korea, and I mostly grew up a sega kid. I always wanted an N64 though and recently I managed to snag a really nice one complete in box (warranty card and everything) along with four games and a few accessories. Its been super exciting so I wanted to join a community where I could ask questions and exchange experinces. I'm also eyeballing for carts where ever I can as I'm trying to grab American carts and out here you mostly find Japanese ones. (that said, I could also trade Japanese carts for American ones if any collectors are looking for Japanese stuff...For this or any other console.) I'm excited to meet all of you and I love my new system.

I got Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, Yoshi Story, and Jet Force Gemini.

I got a second controller, its a little mushier than the first but seems useable, a memory pak and a rumble pak.

The console itself is in prestine condition I've never seen a retro console that looked so new.

These games will keep me plenty occupied but without ocarina of time, banjo kazooie, and star fox I'm going to feel a little naked.....Also I oddly want to find Episode 1 racer as for weird reasons thats the game that made me really want an N64.

I'm no expert on Episode 1 Racer because I haven't played it, but it was bundled with some N64 consoles it was so popular. It doesn't surprise me if it makes you want the system as I've heard it's extremely good. It's a really great console trust me, hopefully in a year your up to playing dozens or hundreds of games. Even if not there are plenty of fans here for you to talk about few big hitters

Welcome Richard! SWE1R is my favorite N64 game (tied with Sin & Punishment) because it is a fantastic racer. And itís cheap, too. Enjoy your long-awaited N64 experience!

Hey Richard! Glad to have you on here with us :)

Iíd love to discuss trading some American carts for Japanese, as Iím trying to import a few certain ones. Right now I just have Smash Bros and Mario Party 2.

A couple of interesting Western exclusives to look out for would be Dr. Mario 64 (which I have and may be looking to trade) and Pokťmon Puzzle League :)
It must be exciting to never have played a Zelda game before - No64DD

Welcome buddy!

It's always so exciting when the console is new to you, and it's exciting for me to get your opinions and perspective on games I have adored for 20+ years!

You have got a fantastic batch of games to get started on.
Jet Force Gemini is an under rated masterpiece in my opinion.
