Follow by recent news that there has been users saying that there Nintendo switches has cracks due to heating and cooling the plastic. Chips appearing top right back shell near power button, cracks near the vent and even chipped off and cracks coming front of shell near the headphone jack. It has happened to me to. Here's some pictures of my Nintendo switch. So give a look mostly those areas. You may have those issues too. ![]() Not many has experience this but I believe properly most affected on launch days since the expiry had gone way over and there is an solution to it. Some people reported year ago properly 3 months after released. But I never experience it until now. This videos shows how fix it if the warranty is expired. if warranty is still active call your nintendo or retailer you purchased it from. Edited: fixed Vid Edited by Boomdiers, Yesterday, 9:37 AM.

Hmm. I'll have to look closely at mine. My fan has started making noise, so I'm just waiting for that eventual failure. |

Maybe this link will work. Spawnwave . . .shows how to replace the case. I just replaced my back with an OEM back I got off ebay and a Triwing/Phillips driver set off ebay. The phillips was clutch, btw. My back was badly cracked from trying to install that stupid (and heavy) Nyko metal kickstand. If you buy a replacement back, be sure you know what parts you are getting. My back did not include the vent cover. Kickstands may not be included. Kickstands may not include the critical metal hardware that latches it to the back. The swap was relatively easy. |

Checked my again yesterday and seems ok so far. Guessing replacing the back yourself would trigger some warranty voiding measure? |
