Alright, so first thing's first. There are a few minimal standards that come to roleplaying in any RP on IRC. Here are some Roleplay IRC commands that involves the script editor. Alias Alias is a quick command that allows you to quick type in what you're gonna say with the respective character. This is highly used for people who use many characters, like GMs. On the Script editor, choose what you want the command to be. This involves using the "/". To make this easier, here's an example: Say you're using Mario. The command would be... /mar That's the first step. The rest would be what you need in order for the name to appear. /mar /say <Mario> $1- The "$1-" is so you can type anything you want after the name appears. So once you put that in the script editor, when you go to roleplay in the channel, all you gotta do is use the command and type what you're gonna say, like so: /mar Woohoo! It would show up as this: <Mario> Woohoo! Color Color is simple. All you have to do is hold down Ctrl and press k, and the color box will come up. Click on what color you want and bam, it's implemented. You can also put this on your script editor, so people tend to pretty-up their aliases this way. Dice Bot Dice bot is easy. In the channel, we use dice whenever the system is used. It ranges from plenty of things. A regular roll is just this: d(number). The (number) being the number you type in. That number is the max number you can get. So if you type in d20, the dice will roll and the highest you can get is a 20. A modified roll is: d(number)+(modifier). The (modifier) being the number you type in that adjusts the roll result. So you roll d20+5. The max becomes 25 while the minimum becomes 6. You can also roll more than once: (Number of Rolls) d(number). So it'd be "2 d20" if you wish to roll twice. Be sure to keep the space. And that's all there is to it really. |
