Welcome to Pandora’s Ascension
(22 FEB '13) Hi guys! We're beginning to transition over to our new jcink location, so stay tuned! If you want to take a look and register, here...NEW SITE!
PAMV, the first opening theme
After working on this for half of the summer, Jes and I are FINALLY done with the music video! It's our surprise for the members who've been here for awhile ^_^. Hope you guys enjoy it :D.
Vaenice as we know it exists on the outer side of a tidally locked moon of a gas giant. The maelstrom thought to exist at the world poles actually exists at the equator. The Fionans built their civilization on the other side. Something.
The star is a K type. 1.7 AU gas giant. 3x mass of earth. 2.2 radius.

Elves are typically more naturalistic and anti-technology. The reason PA elves are anti-tech is because they were created in a laboratory as just one of many experiments under Corsairs regime. They are remarkably quick to mature and quick to reproduce, but their lives are fraught with inconveniences from their imperfect creation. Because they are such a new species, it is unknown exactly what the lifespan of any given elf is, but some have been known to die of aging-related problems as early as 12 (where they would have roughly the appearance of a person in their mid twenties). They are remarkably intelligent as well, and adept at manipulating Auria but not particularly skilled in Psionics. Reaction speed, agility great, but weak physically.
Meeker than humans, with fairer skin and lighter (sometimes unnaturally so) hair, slighter builds and generally lanky. Larger heads, ears with two points. Little is known about their nature, for the few currently living outside of Exionan government labs (and the few recently liberated) have only just started the first generation of elves to live outside of captivity (their parents were escapees, some have had children of their own, but no more than two generations below captives).
Land's End Maelstrom -
Before the advent of airships, it was believed that the world had a definite edge, a place where the land ends and who knows what began. The stories about it were overblown to the point of myth, but the Edge of the World actually had a basis rooted in nature. At Vaenice's north pole, there is a ring of bedrock that juts up out of the ocean, cutting blah blah subduction zone, exploration beyond the edge made possible by airships, maelstrom found beyond the giant waterfall cliff side, has yet to be traversed.
Down with Dacian!
Wild Ones - Soto and Glanrim are sent into Exiona to recover Tritonian technologies that were hidden by Corsair's regime. They fly their ships into the massive bedrock cracks surrounding the meteor crater Gouge. There, they discover the lost ancient Dwarven capital, as ether coke from the gouge leaks into the city and mutates the goblins and dwarves.
The Squadron vs. Teer Minox.
The Fionan Space Station
Time God, who cannot be killed (he exists through all time) sends players back to Fionan times. "The other gods continue to influence through me. Without me, there are no gods."
Enderwin IS Vaenice
Princess War - Selene is returned to Tritonia. Jonno realizes his duties to the princess' safety do not supersede her happiness, and he goes on a suicide mission against the Parthenon to free her.
"Exhibitions" - Prequel thread to Inhibitions. Theft of Daidolos, beginning of Eagles. while out sailing, Jagger and Leuther's crew spied a group of Tritonian ships escorting what looked like a lightweight but hardy ship, sporting what looked like new weapons (the Daidolos). Disguised as Tritonians, the Gentleman's Crew approach the fleet and its newly appointed admiral, Guinevere Abendroth. Eve laughs when she realizes they plan to attack. Until the rest of the armada surfaces from underwater. The battle for Daidolos begins. Jagger and his future navigator Grid Teva board Daidolos and make for the helm to try to steal the whole thing, in glorious swashbuckling splendor. Jagger, at the bridge, finds himself at the Ship's very odd helm, with integrated electronics and a wheel locked in place by a red switch. When he throws the switch, the thing erupts to life, and begins sailing of its own accord. Things outside suddenly get very loud and terrifying, and Jagger peeks outside to see what's going on. A nobyl, created when a psion officer on the ship goes Nobyl as an unintended result of the Ship's mechanics is just outside, tearing into a Tritonian, and lunges at Jagger. He hides back inside and hears gunshots from very close by. Drawing his pistol, he stealthily makes his way through the area before being clubbed from behind by a rifle belonging to a Tritonian sailor. He falls unconscious.
When awoken, he is at gunpoint. The sailor, "S. DiGiacomo," tries to find out what went down from Jagger. Neither knows how to pilot the ship, largely because neither was aware that they were on the maiden flight of Tritonia's first airship. Soto makes it known that the nobyls were still on the ship, and as far as Soto knew, they were the only ones left on board, largely because he stopped hearing screaming about 6 hours prior. Every once in a while, the creatures come banging on the door, but so far they weren't strong enough to budge it. He tells Jagger that Jagger is only alive because he is a sailor, and might be able to figure out how to fly the thing. Jagger finds it surprisingly easy, and manages to navigate them to Exiona, the Gouge.
The next morning, Jagger leaves Soto behind at the Gouge and brings the airship to the Gentleman's Crew. They kill off the nobyls and christen the ship "Terror Moon" for the unsavory events that occurred on it. Since then, the flight mechanisms have been swapped out for ones that don't cause such an ill effect on Psions. The crew embraces the image of the death the ship represents, but having been present made Jagger a bit put off by it, hence his usual usage of his ship Diamond Overture instead, an admittedly brighter environment.
When he awakens, the soldier (Soto) is trying to communicate with him. A gun is pointed in his face. He puts his hands up in surrender, but the soldier only wants him to talk. He wants to know what's going on. Jagger admits he was in it for the new weapon batteries. But now that he's gotten a chance to take a look around, he's that much more glad he went for it; the Ship's so nice you can't even feel the sea. Soto says they aren't in the sea, that's why - and Jagger looks outside to see that the entire ship is flying amongst the clouds.
They hear howling, and Soto points out that a few of the things that were killing everyone are still inside the ship somewhere, so he'd locked the door to the bridge. As far as he knows, they’re the only two alive, and if Jagger wants to live, he’ll do as Soto says. He does.

So, now that I realize I have a blog, I'm definitely about to make this my ideapad, so I can post up different ideas I have. If anyone cares to come through here and browse through them, feedback is always welcome. I can't guarantee ALL of my plans will be here, but if I have some little ideas here and there I'll definitely put it up here.
