Since we have a new skin (diamond, if you haven't noticed.) I thought we'd poll all y'all. Which one should be our default skin? It shouldn't matter to members, cause they can change it, but which one do YOU think will leave a good first impression on our guests?

Comments as to why you chose your answer would be nice.

I chose diamond, cause I've wanted an airship theme and we finally HAVE IT >:D
plus it looks nice and good for the fall season that's coming ;3

If you have a dark-affinity or light-affinity character, this will pertain to you.

Ry and I updated the elementalist section, adding whole new posts and sub-sections for Light and Dark. If you have a Light or Dark character or are planning to make one, please read this and make the adjustments to your character in your profile under "Elemental Affinity".

Yes! It's been there for quite awhile now, so I say we are due for a new one.

So why not turn this into a contest? Yes, we want you to help us design a bunch of new mini-banners! It's not so much a contest but...more like an event!

Guidelines

 

- Anybody can participate! Whether you are a newbie, a member, or a staff member, you can submit a button for us!

- Banners must be 88x31 meaning it is 88 pixel wide and 31 pixel high. NO EXCEPTIONS.

- As you can see from our current banner, there's no limitation on what you can include in the banner. However, it should generally stay close to PA's theme. That means you should not include something like Naruto in the banner -_-. Text only can be fine!

- Animated banners are a plus!

Expect lots of rep points for those who submit a banner!

Please PM ME the banners!

I really can't believe we were able to last this long. I mean. A lot of forums close down after a year or so. Lost of interest from the admin, low member count, no sense of community and a bunch of other things can really bring a forum down :(.

BUT PA's DIFFERENT!



You see, we overcame all of that and made it this far :D.



Now I remember three years ago, I was super ambitious and wanted to make the ultimate RP. It's no where near "ultimate" but the RP's much better than it was back then, that's for sure! Lots of things have changed...but they were for the greater good!



And I know a lot of members have left us XD. Let's see. If I hadn't deleted them, we'd be up in the 300's? O_O. Ahahaha. I wished we could still have them all here. I KNOW. 300 people would be insane. Maybe not ALL of them. But I'm sure if about...20-30 of those had stayed...XD, this place would have been different. Ah well. They come and they go. We still have a bunch of awesome members with us, yep! So I'm thankful for that ^_^.

Alright. I don't know what else to say...HAH.

But thanks everyone, for staying with us! Hopefully PA can continue to have a long life XD, hahaha.

Okay! So if you guys have been snooping around for the past coupla days, you might have noticed that the simplicity theme was made available to view in our selector (bottom left corner of the forum)! Well, I didn't want to make an announcement about it quite yet because I didn't have the banner ready. And now...I have both ready! Whoo! So we have two different color versions for this theme :3.

So what do you guys think? Please post your thoughts and of course...please answer the questions in the poll :D. You have two votes, one for Question 1, and one for Question 2.

Heyo fellow PA members and welcome to the "Wanted!" thread! Here we the PA crew will inform you about the characters we currently need in the RP.

If you are having trouble with coming up with a character and you want to make one, this is the place for you. Here we will update whenever we find that we need a character(non-specific, like a country official or a villain, or even someone's relative or something). Of course, you may post here if you want someone to make a character for you too. Meaning, if you want someone to make a character with close relations to yours, you may post a request here and other members (and new members of course) might respond to your post and make a character correspondingly. Keep in mind that if you make too many specifications for the character you request, another person might not be interested in RPing that character.

PAEX1 posts: Hellow! I want someone to RP as my character Stu's sister. She is 12 years old and she is his half sister, so they won't look too much alike. keep that in mind when making her. She is also paranoid of everything. Oh, her name is Sue.That is all.

PAEX1 replies: Oh, ok then let's talk about it through PM.

Hello, fellow members of PA!

We are currently under secret spiff-ups to the site, and one thing that's going to be added is an announcement bar at the very top!

Annnnd on the announcement bar is going to be a sparkling new "Character of the Month" section!

There we the PA crew will carefully choose the character of the month each month. The prize for winning is a spiffy chibi drawing of your character!

We will look at the quality of your posts, the development of your character, and other things to choose each character of the month. So... There you have it!

The first CoM will be chosen for August. Look forward to it!

So our Mish's back on the PA staff, whoo! So what does she do? Well, the main reason I bumped her up was because she offered to help make the forum look spiffier with her graphics :3. Yes! Mish has now taken over PA's graphics department...so expect to see her cool stuff around the forum (mainly in the RP of course!).
