[started the topic in Mt. Dashi cause they'll end up there and I'm too lazy to start making new topics for each destination xD]

Their little adventure was fruitful; Yuki ended up reluctantly allowing equal shares of the bounty to everybody, and they were all on an airship back to Hanshina to deliver the axe. Yuki stayed in the cabin with Shuu and Jalee, while Zal slept outside with Visra: a moment of deja vu.

They reached Nanami and once the axe was delivered, Daichi Matsuo laughed his big hearty laugh and told Yuki that she must immediately go deliver it to Mt. Dashi.

"WHAT?!" Yuki burst with the emotion of twenty one year's worth of annoyance. "We just got BACK. You want us to go now?!"

An hour of heated argument ensued. The two family members began throwing things at each other, including their own magic.

"SELFISH GEEZER!" Yuki snarled as she threw a fireball at her grandfather.

"INSOLENT GRANDDAUGHTER!!" Daichi roared as he deflected the fireball easily with the axe and proceeded to throw it at his granddaughter.

Yuki caught it, barely avoiding a fatal blow to the face. "Now deliver it!" Daichi said, his voice calming. He seemed to know that Yuki had the capability to catch it, even if it was a close call. "We don't have much time. The deadline is a week! Let's not dawdle; we have a reputation of delivering earlier than usual."

Muttering darkly and cursing while she left, Yuki stomped out of the house, motioning for the group to come with her. "He's getting more incomprehensible as he gets older, the stupid old man!" she snarled as she kicked a fence post. There was a noticeable dent in the metal.

Jalee stood quietly and waited for the right moment before she spoke. "I... should leave now." she chose her words carefully, as Yuki seemed about to explode. "Me and Zalryas are done with our business, unless Zal wishes to stay and help longer, we believe we should be on our way."

Yuki stared. "Oh.. what?" she felt suddenly lonely. "Why? You won't help?"

"No, I believe my business here is done." Jalee said bluntly. She truly believed so, and did not mean any offense.

[This topic will follow Shuu and Yuki, and Jalee and Zal will be outta the picture]

Shun wandered the smithy's garden as the standard argument proceeded to blast from the house's interior. He spotted Zalryas and Jaleanne a few yards away; apparently they had the same idea as him to not be under the same roof as the hot headed grandfather-granddaughter combination.

"Oh, hello." he said with mild interest to the pair, nothing that Zalryas seemed slightly disappointed as the psion rummaged through his backpack for who-knows-what.

"Oh, hai Shuu! Jal and I are just getting ready to leave! We thought we'd tell you first since you're not the type to explode like a camel that's been sent flying for miles by a giant trebuchet situated high in the mountains! Kinda like that over there!" Zalryas explained as he pointed in the direction of the smithy.

"Ah, I see. Farewell, then-" Shun began, before he was interrupted by the Psion.

"Well! It's probably only for a short while, anyway! We've got something that we need to attend to regarding a pirate ship and a grumpy captain, but I've got a feelin' that something big's about to happen soon, and that we'll see each other again!" he exclaimed as Shun raised an eyebrow at the deduction.

"Okay. I'll be staying in the continent, since I have something to do once things are over." Shun commented as he propped himself up to sit on the metal fence. It was then Yuki emerged from the house declaring it was time to leave, and also when Jaleanne decided to break the news to her.

After a while of coaxing on the pair's part to let them leave, Yuki relented and they made their way to what seemed to be the direction of the main city.

"Mt Dashi, right?" Shun asked after he got Yuki's attention. "There should be a ferry from this town that goes there. I've been on it before."

Yuki stared for a while as the duo they had just met left. Ah well... hope we meet again, I suppose! she exhaled deeply, letting her emotions go before turning sharply and stepping towards the main city. She paused at Shuu's comment and sighed.

"Oh yeah, I've been on it too, when I was six." she said with a hint of nostalgia. Her grandfather had begun to teach her how to work metal at that age, and thought it perfect experience to know the ways of delivering to the palace. Since then, she had made two deliveries to Mt. Dashi, but as they were both during her years of poverty, she could not afford the ferry ride there, and had to travel on foot... they had been grueling, long journeys.

The duo started off to the ferries, paid(they had plenty of money from all the bounty hunting), and set off. Yuki was in a wonderful mood; the past trips she was forced to go on airship, but this time was within the country... and her grandfather had been in too much of a hurry to send her out to buy her airship tickets. She decided to sit down at the deck and meditate for a while, drawing out her auria. The ferry felt calming as it rocked back and forth. She could hear footsteps on the wooden floor around her as she breathed in and out.

((ooc: yay! it's my turn now :]))

Lena's business of hunting down criminals had brought her from the peaceful rural island of Arcadia to the chilly region of Hanshina. See, she was tracking down a bandit that had escaped to the tundra nation recently although her searches have been going no where as of late. Tough luck...but that's how life is...when you're a bounty hunter I suppose... she sighed in frustration as she paid the fee to board the water vessel. Lena was hesitant to pay the fee too since she was going broke at the moment. She contemplated on sneaking aboard the ferry, but she wasn't quite the sneaking type. Plus the ferry people were eying the Tritonian foreigner like a mean hawk the entire time. If anything, she might had overpaid the fee, those rotten Hanshinan scum!

The ferry was slightly crowded, though the deck had enough room for the passengers to walk around and chat about with one another. The strange and unfamiliar kept their distance from Lena. Fine by me...I can see the hospitality around these parts, she thought as she took a stroll across the deck. Suddenly a school of flying river fishes swimming upstream jumped above the water and attracted the heads of many passengers on the ship, including Lena's. Had she not cared for the spectacle and paid attention to the her walking path, she would have avoided the collision that would soon ensue. The victim was a young Hanshinan woman who was innocently meditating...in the middle of a busy deck. Before Lena realized someone was in her way, it was already too late. She tripped, wailed her arms in the air, and let out a loud yelp.

"Ah!" she cried, twirling her foot and falling on top of the young woman.

Thud!

"Ow..." Lena mumbled after lending on her bottom. Refusing to admit her mistake in not paying attention, she angrily shouted at the woman, "Watch where you're going, little girl! Who do you think you are sitting around like that?!"

She could feel it, her auria flowing inside her like molten rock. Then, a searing pain in her head, something like...a foot coming past her face and then a whole body. After the pain and commotion, she opened her eyes to some yelling and reprimanding. This irked Yuki. Some lady tripped over her and now she was saying it was Yuki's fault?

Flaming red hair... definitely not a Hanshinan. She was also taller than Yuki. Narrowing her eyes, Yuki stood up, concentrating on not staggering, and brought her rucksack up with her. "I was meditating," she began with trembling anger. The air around her began to heat up as her newly churned auria bubbled with irritation. "Before you and your clumsy self went up and decided to trip over a person sitting right in front of you on the floor! Why don't you watch where you're going, old lady?"

Refusing to admit that meditating right smack dab in the middle of a busy deck was pretty stupid on her part, she stormed off to the side next to Shuu and fumed silently. "Not. Very. Pleasant." she said with venom. Her eyes were subconsciously embedded upon the image of that red headed lady. Though she was angry at the woman, she felt a sort of internal bond. Yuki felt that the lady's auria was similar to hers.

"Shuu," she suddenly said to keep her mind off of her anger (though her auria still was churning heat in the air) "In Mt. Dashi, you should be able to find some stuff about your parents, right? If you were in the army, they should still have some deep info...?"

Shun leaned against the railings of the ship as he duly noted that Yuki was apparently meditating smack dab in the middle of it, but made no movement to get her to shift from that spot as a fiery rebuke was something he wasn't really wanting at the moment. Instead, he was content just watching a random stranger practically trip over her sitting figure which sparked a small argument between the two fiery women[or at least the newcomer seemed pretty fiery, he thought.]

The gunner was half-expecting a fistfight of sorts to break out, but was relieved when Yuki decided to turn around and head in his direction. Putting his hand on her shoulder when she arrived, he tried to think of a way to calm the blacksmith down without sounding partial to either side in his speech in case the woman who tripped over her decided to listen in.

"Um, it's okay, just forget about it. Her sentence was technically wrong anyway, since you can't 'go' anywhere while sitting down." Shun stated in as straight a voice as he could muster. He was glad when Yuki decided to steer the direction of the conversation as he managed to get a glimpse of the woman's armaments before turning his focus somewhere else.

At first glance, the rapier makes her seem like a fencer, capable of fierce melee combat but nothing much more than that. But then you notice the gun, and realize she's actually a master-of-arms. A scary thought there. Though, I should probably respond to Yuki's question for now.

"It's possible, but not likely. The royal guard expects service for a lifetime or until some incident which forces you to drop out of it, so I don't think there's much of a reason to retain information about your past life. But I guess they might have noted things down for formality's sake." he replied while trying to cool the temperature around Yuki down with his own auria; at the same time subconsciously raising a small barrier of ice obstructing him from view as he seemed to have felt a pair of eyes glaring in his general direction.

[Hmm, tried to make that last sentence seem as not-godmodding as possible, yet passing the baton on at the same time D:]

Impudent little girl! Lena snapped as she watched the Hanshinan woman leave her meditating spot and march towards a black haired man who appeared to be of the same age as the woman. She scrutinized the man as she stood in the midst of the crowd. He too was foreigner...she could tell that much by the looks of his attire, although his acquaintance with the Hanshinan woman made him fit in a whole lot better than Lena. Oh? So they're...together huh? she thought as she raised a single brow and turned her head to the side slightly.

"You two!" she raised a finger and pointed at the couple sitting down. She marched ahead loudly in a show of frustration. Lena wasn't going to allow the Hanshinan woman to waltz her way out of the trouble she has caused for Lena unnoticed and without consequence. She addressed the man first as she stared down at him with punishing looking eyes. "She's your woman, right?" Lena assumed although if they were not together, Lena was simply trying to agitate them... or at least get on the girl's nerves, "Look, you better keep her in check. Girls like her a quite the handful you know...leave them by themselves for a second and you're going to be in a helluva mess...hmph!"

Lena's mouth curled into a wicked smile as she glanced over at the Hanshinan woman. Although Lena didn't particularly hate the woman, she didn't like her either. Perhaps Lena was just bored on the ferry ride, hoping to stir up some fun while she was on it. The couple in front of her was easy picking...and would soon be worth her time.

[OOC: What is this? Is Yuki's character changing? She's still rude though :idk: ]

This was not Yuki's idea of a good first impression. What was with this woman? Did she want to pick a fight? Damn rude old hag. thought Yuki, giving the ketchup-head a deadly glare. Her auria raged, and now not only heat, but flickers of fire could be seen around her. She was very close to attacking this woman, but she did not like the idea of being kicked out of the ferry and having to walk all the way to Mt. Dashi.

Ignoring the fact that ketchup-head was directing her icy stare at Shuu, Yuki gritted her teeth as she tried to calm the lady down. "I'm not his woman, I am a woman." she began with tempered fury. Hmm, she wasn't bad at this 'keeping her temper in check', was she? "I'm perfectly capable of behaving independently and not causing trouble. It's people like you that come up to people, picking a fight. People like you are the ones who need to be kept in check."

Despite her attempts at being calm and her tempered tone of voice, her sweaty hands were clenched into fists, and visible flickers of flame flashed across the surface of her being, coursing through violent currents of auria. She tapped her boots impatiently on the wooden deck.

I thought we had avoided this... Shun thought to himself as he mentally sighed at the two bickering people in front of him. Both parties looked readily eager to engage in a brawl, and Shun for one, wasn't the most enthusiastic person about attacking women. But then, it wasn't like he could just sit by the side and do nothing.

"We're not related; but if you're attacking my friend, I can't really ignore what's happening." Shun declared in a slightly exasperated voice as he more or less misunderstood what the red-haired woman said to him. His fingers gripped the revolver in his holster and drew it out of it's resting place, though not before turning the barrel to the one chamber that was not loaded.

A fight is already starting to seem inevitable. At the very least, I'll reduce the amount of trouble caused by not actually firing a live round, I guess. Shun decided as he adjusted his grip on Shusatsu for a throwing style. Turning his calm expression into a fierce glare, Shun released a steady stream of Auria from his body, causing the air around him to chill as well as to become slightly misty, hopefully appearing menacing enough to deter the would-be attacker in front of him from commencing an attack.

((ooc: hehe she's not as rude as Lena though ;3))

"Picking fights? Who said anything about fighting?!" Lena snapped, though with a tone of sarcasm, "Does it look like I'm here to get into a brawl with both of you munchkin brats? Puh-lease...You two wouldn't even stand a chance against me." Of course she was entirely bluffing which was one of her hidden talents. Even the obvious flashes of flames from the hot-headed Hanshinan woman did not draw Lena back an inch...Although Lena could be potentially burned if she continued her to aggravate the woman. Suddenly the air around Lena changed drastically as a chill crept up her spine; the feeling was the exact opposite of the heat she was feeling earlier from the girl. This guy…he’s doing it… she thought shooting another distasteful glare at him once again. Her eyes were met with his own fierce eyes; an expression that had caught Lena off guard for she did not expect the young man to appear so hostile all of a sudden. It was bitter as it was roaming around in the Hanshinan frosty regions, but the foreigner just had to inflict a bit more suffering for the red-headed hunter. She was beginning to despise the cold now. Well, she was just getting used to it…adjusting for the time being. Lena could use some more clothes. A lot more clothes. Perhaps this was an excuse to storm the Hanshinan clothing stores later on? That would be what she would do after she brings in the suspect and collects the reward.

“Don’t you know who I am? I’m Lena…Lena Orthallo! The great Crimson Hunter!” she pointed a thumb at her chest, which was popped out with an overwhelming amount of pride. Her other hand was tucked on the side of her hip as she assumed a pose and continued, “Surely you’ve heard of me! If you haven’t…then I don’t know what kind of rock you two have been living under…heh! But…you know what?”

Lena reached into one of the pockets on her jacket and whipped out a folded piece of paper. She snapped the paper and it unfolded at once, revealing a portrait of a shady looking man printed across the page. He bore several distinctive scars on his face and at the time, looked very grumpy. Bold letters printed “WANTED” covered a quarter of the page, along with a hefty reward and further details on the very bottom.

“Take a good look at this ugly sucker,” Lena grinned then viciously coughed, "but not as ugly as you two!" before clearing her throat and returned to her cocky grin. “Now I’m going to forgive you guys for causing me soooo much trouble…If you can tell me any information you know of this man right here.”
