General Full Name: Erwin Lubrecht Alias: Quaff (Which means "to drink deeply". Is called this by many of his colleagues due to his extreme aversion to alcohol.) Kingdom: Exiona Gender: Male Age: 42 Birthday: Aprolla 20th Elemental Affinity: None Psionic School: None Currently Florins: Well off enough. Due to paying alimony, and the upkeep for his personal band of lawyers, he's unable to buy himself very few extras than what's needed. Items on Hand: Briefcase that contains important documents for work, checkbook, writing utensils, packet of cigarettes, and a bottle of prescribed headache/nasal congestion pills. Weapons: He's a total wimp when it comes to fighting. The most he'll do is thrash around while crying for help, if actually put into a situation that requires brawling. In any other event, he finds that his sharp words are enough. Since after the messy divorce with Annaliese, Erwin has hired a legion of crooked lawyers to look after his investments. Aspirations: To get the kids all grown up and working, so he can stop paying alimony. Current Occupation: Exionan Government Official - Diplomat Home: Rechvald Workplace: Rechvald Pets: Gaius (male goldfish) Rosalia (female goldfish) Looks Appearance: Like most average Exionan's, Erwin is fairly tall. Stands at 6'2 (), weighs ??? lbs (). Eye color/shape - hooded/droopy feel. think Severus Snape, but blue-eyed. Haughty, glaring. Eyebrow shape - not thin, nor thick Hair color/style - short, thin, blonde. Hairline beginning to recede? Nose - slight dent in upper bridge (natural, never broken). nostrils not flared. Lips?... Long and... frowny? Chin - rounded Ears - .... ordinary? Not large. Not too small. Build - "elegant" Posture - generally stiff, rigid, uncomfortable, suspicious. Often ill - often coughs into left hand. Mustache - Pathetic. Very sparse. Not a cool handlebar, walrus, or hitler. he's not confident enough for those. Skin tone - pale. he burns rather than tan in face of sunlight. Hand - right handed (I'd like to do a handwriting meme for him, so I'll have to learn to use my right better) First para (facial features), Second para (overall figure) Clothing: Describe four outfits, one for each season. General idea of clothing preference can be explained that way. Don't need to go all over the board - too messy that way. Mentality Personality: Cold (very common) Irritable (common; very common with annaliese) Ill (common) Easily flustered (common to uncommon - depends on situation; sylvia, romantic advances, social trip-ups, alcohol, physically threatened, the twins...) Affectionate (very rare - currently appears when interacting with farris or brunhilde, but not with the twins. the twins are too much like their mother. the twins really don't care for erwin.) Likes: He loves his children, though they may sometimes make him feel as though he's drowning in a sea of estrogen. If he could, he'd spend more time with them. But! Alimony doesn't pay for itself. Often, Erwin likes to settle his nerves with a relaxing smoke. Better than breathing the polluted air, in his opinion. Music, Technology, Fishes, Fruits, Literature Dislikes: Annaliese, the darling she-beast from hell. In all fairness, she was a sweetie at one point, but she soon became bitter. How typical. Truthfully, Erwin also doesn't understand how anyone could like alcohol. It tastes like piss and vomit for goodness sake. It's no walk in the park explaining things to idiots. Especially when the "idiots" happen to be those savage Tritonians. If the kid ain't his, keep it out of sight. And quiet. Mustn't forget that. He has enough headaches as it is. Sports? What are sports? An excuse to become sweaty, in a desperate attempt to win over the opposite sex. Wealth can do that with far less work. And this fighting silliness? Pfft. One doesn't have to fight their own battles when they can hire someone else to do the dirty work. Parties are to idiots as the light of a flame is to moths. Irresistable, and just begging for trouble. No. Let's avoid those at all costs. Socializing is such a primitive exercise. Camping might be fun, if it weren't for all the critters and fresh air... and hiking... Damn it, what's the point? Talents: At home, he enjoys playing piano every now and then. Though he doesn't enjoy speaking with others, he's actually quite decent in debating with others (excluding Annaliese). Erwin quite dispises that talent. There's this one gift where he always remember every face and name he sees/hears. Due to his career, he has to be well versed in foreign cultures and languages. Totally excellent at playing "dress-up" and "tea party". Inabilities: Sadly, Erwin can't hold his liqour well, with the tendancy to become totally plastered after half a pint. Easily catches colds. Soup is great for that! Watch out; the guy has quite a nasty temper, and it doesn't take much to ignite. Allergic to most furry animals (cats, dogs, rabbits, bears...). This may explain why he dislikes camping so vigourously. He can't cook to save his life. Seriously. Give him an egg, a stove, and frying pan... erm... and he'll find a way to muck up something so easy. Not very good with people either. Erwin tends to be cold, flustered, or snappish. At one time, he was actually quite affectionate with Annaliese, but only Farris ever gets to see his soft side these days. Math is a bit of a pain too; thankfully he doesn't have to deal with that numbers crap. Fears: Foremost is his exwife. She won't stop tormenting Erwin until he's drained of all finances. Which is another fear; becoming poor. The thought of anything terrible happening to any of his daughters ever again is sickening. He can hardly sleep at night, worrying about what the Tritonians might do with their new technology. Also doesn't like thinking about how alone he is currently, and how that's probably what the rest of his life will be like. Fear of having his heart broken again makes him avoid any possible new romances. Internal Affairs Family: Farris Lubrecht (eldest daughter) Rechvald, student, 20 Kordula Lubrecht (eldest twin daughter) Rechvald, student, 16 Lumina Lubrecht (youngest twin daughter) Rechvald, student, 16 Brunhilde Lubrecht (second youngest daughter) Rechvald, student, 14 --- Lubrecht (youngest daughter) deceased, remains unnamed Annaliese Lubrecht (exwife) Rechvald, social service administrator, 43 Oldrik Lubrecht (father) deceased Sylvia Lubrecht (mother) Rechvald, clock mechanic, 66 History: Average family, only child. Erwin's father had a heart condition that's been passed down onto darling lil' Farris. Average schooling, except was terrible at math. Always found languages and cultures interesting. Was planning on becoming a museum curator, or librarian... something more peaceful than diplomat. Became a diplomat so he could support his new family more readily. Erwin's father died of said heart condition sometime between the births of Farris and the twins. For his first child, Erwin really wanted a son, so when he got a daughter instead... he gave her a boy's name anyway. Not sure if she should have glasses as well or not. Brunhilde either has glasses currently, or will be needing them in a few years, having inherited his Oldrik's long line of family nearsightedness. On Annaliese's side of genetics, twins are common. Hence, Lumina and Kordula. A scary pair. Just like their mother. He's currently been divorced (officially) for 10 years. Held together for 2 years after youngest's death. Youngest was 4 months old at death?... seasons system is confusing somewhat. (30 yrs old) Youngest and 2nd youngest are 1 year apart. Twins and 2nd youngest are 2 years apart. Twins and oldest are 4 years apart. 42-13= Erwin was 29 at DEAD BABY'S birth (mhuahaha) 42-14= Erwin was 28 at B's birth 42-16= Erwin was 26 at twins birth 42-20= Erwin was 22 at F's birth How did Annaliese and Erwin meet? Went to same school, but different programs... met entirely by chance. Annaliese was the persistant one. To Erwin's dismay. This really makes me want to do a short one-shot. Just to torture Erwin. Oh, Anna, you flapper you. :3 (check 1920's history to find out what a flapper is, lol - flappers may not exist in PA, but that's basically the word that sums Anna up) Why is it that Erwin kinda feels off for this rp? Roleplay Sample: I vote for a tea party. >83 (What's colored are parts that need to be finished. If the big bosses want to point anything out, or make a crit, go ahead.
