8413 with the DK destination sign. Other Neo 8000s to have them were as follows: 8439 & 8497(with seating arrangements similar to the DKs) DK seats, 8584(remember 1983 Neo BD suburban 8584? This had the DK destination signage upon retirement. 1984 Neo BM suburban 8717 got the Neo DK destination aignage as well. |

1983 Neo AK suburban 8413 had the manufacturing plate marked with the date: 1-19-1983. A handful of the Neo AKs (maybe 2 or 3 of them) were manufactured in early 1983. |

When 1982 Neo AK transit 8285 was delivered, 8285 came with the 4 block number holder & opening /sliding windows. 8285 also had a different set of rims on the bus. |

They were the meanest, there's no doubt about that, but the best has just three letters. R T S Anything less, is uncivilized. |

Damn right the RTS is the best. You'd better know it. That's why it's been around for so long. It's also why four different manufacturers decided to use its design. And it's also why it's coming back by way of Millennium Transit Systems (MTS). VIVA LA R.T.S. !!!!!!! |

ugh, there havfe been so many things WRONG with that design - thank goodness MTS did at least a small redesign of the RTS. I cannot stand that front door though, and the WFD is just hideous! Why did they have to change it from the TMC design?! Now a Flx Metro - that's the coolest. |
