5401 is on the 105 today, those voh's are smoother then the non-voh plus you could hear the gear whine clearly. I've notice that on 5414 as well..Just like 5414 several meters on the dashboard were changed also.

5352 saw and rode on the 44 today.

9079 is at Elmwood, as is 9111. I rode 9079 on the 11 to 66th & Woodland Avenue(from 13th) yesterday & the 9111 on the 36 to 66th & Elmwood(from 13th) today.

3427 ran on the 75 today, as did a Neo on the 3.

The only Neo EIs remaining in active service in the SEPTA system are the ones at Comly & Frankford.

I had the chance to ride 3323 on the K this afternoon, and also saw 3372 and 3374 on the K.

As for C.A.'s sighting of an Eldorado on the 23 a few days back, that isn't the first time Midvale's done something like that ... I remember seeing the same thing about two years ago, also on a Broad-Erie short route run, during the afternoon rush hour.

Saw 5409 on the 114 / 4515 block earlier tonight deadheading in. As I was driving behind on Main Street and Lansdowne Avenue from the Darby Transportation Center to Essex Avenue, I noticed the tail lights were out. When I noticed that bus had no tailights, the crappy Darby streetlight above went out. This bus present a major safety hazard with no tail lights. It should not be on the streets until this is corrected. The brake lights, however, worked fine. The red taillights weren't working but they worked as brake lights (I believe there is a seperate circuit for this. I had a broken turn signal on my car once that needed replacing but the hazards worked. Unlike my car, this bus had LED taillights). 5409 was also very dirty especially on the adless rear. Numerous handprints were present on the engine cover and someone may have wrote "Clean me" on it as well. 5409 has not had a rear ad since being repainted last year. No vehicle should be on the road without functioining taillights, though. On the dark road earlier tonight (around 19:20), if there were no streetlights, I'd have only been able to see the outline of the bus. SEPTA is not praciticing safety! If I see this bus on the road again within the next few days with no taillights, I'm notifying the State Police of this.

About the bus with no taillights. Was the top section lit up, the corner top lights and the triple cluster? That at least would help you identify it as a
bus or large vehicle. You are correct in reporting it to the police.
