3483 on route 59, block 1. I spoke to the operator briefly today and he says that he tries to get a Neo everyday because "they're the best piece of bus equipment that SEPTA has."

Saw two Sharks today at Red Arrow with Larry Pitt Law curbside ad banners. 5863 was one of them and the other was either 5864 or 5884.

You better be seeing lots of trolleys on the 15, and not NABI busses!

Yeah, that Wired bus - that is 5660 as a matter of fact. 5857 of course has the full THP wrap, I'm not sure about the NABIs (it is possible that they have been full wrapped too - I just havent seen them yet).

3481 was on route 59, block 1 today.
3323 was on route 75, block 109, but the back doors weren't working properly so the operator got a bus change at Arrott terminal to 5510.

This evening (4/4/06) the R5 was down between Jenkintown & Ambler due to downed wires just south of Ambler station. SEPTA ran a bus bridge between Jenkintown & Ambler. All of the following were spotted by me in this operation, between 5:45 & 6:30 pm:

Neoplan 40-footers (!): 3426, 3482

NABIs: 5117, 5172, 5232, 5239

New Flyers: 5538(?-not sure of #), 5793, 5935

Neoplan Artics: 7134, 7171

There were probably others too.

I rode 3482 between Jenkintown & Ambler. Seemed to still have plenty of power with a crush load, albeit it did not seem quick. It was a cleaner bus inside than New Flyer 5693 which I rode on the 23 yesterday! One of my fellow R5 commuters rode 3426 & reported that it was smoking heavily. (I agree, it sure did!) Since I seldom get a chance to venture up to Frankford territory, I wonder if this will be my last ride ever on a SEPTA 40-foot Neoplan. I hope not.

Last night, for some reason, 5392 was on the 15. I rode behind it on Girard, 26th, and Poplar and it ws picking up and dropping off passengers.
