Yesterday I saw 5154 on the 59. This morning, I spotted 5812 on the 43 with a full wrap for Snickers, I believe, that said "Nougatocity."

3490 was spotted at Wissahickon Transfer Center this morning, probably running on either the 1 or R.

Neo's are frequently used on the 1 & R.
Your best bet to ride one is to hang around FTC and watch them pull out for their runs. Then beat a path to the loading berth. Don't jaywalk, though, the yellow shirts will holler at you.

I spotted 5618 on a Midvale route & run sometime this week. 5617,5618,5619 have returned to Midvale.

Any word on 5616?

Southern still has the balance of the 5300s, for I spotted 5360 @ 20th & Oregon on a pullout.

I was passing through the Overbrook area & I spotted 5556 deadheading northbound along 66th Street(with block 1056) in the block holder. The only thing I can think of is that this was either the deadhead routing that Comly & Frankford operators take back after working a nite owl run on the MFL Blue Line or a possible run interlined with the 1.

I rode 5878 on the 108 en route to 68th & Greenway Avenue on Saturday.

It actually felt like the 108 to me. Southern lost it's share.

As far as I can see, the 108 passing through the Paschall neighborhoods is the most interesting part of the line for me(Church Lane in Yeadon crosses Cobbs Creek Parkway & becomes 70th Street, with Chester Avenue running right into it. The bus makes a hard left & stops immediately at the stopsign at the intersection where you can yield north to east, north to west).

Then there is the jog up Chester Avenue, sotuh on 68th Street over the CSX(former B & O) railroad, then east on Greenway Avenue then sotuh along 65th to Elmwood, north on 67th, east on Paschall & then the fun begins all over again.

I would do something totally abnormal simply to ride a 1983 Neoplan BD suburban like 8569 or 8572 on the 108. An 8500 suburban in Southwest Philadelphia was like music to my mind & ears.

Red over White, why were buses on the 15, short of trolley drivers???
Or was the line fouled up again???

4541 (block 4267) on the 3:30 107 to Lawerence Park with all signs frozen on
"7 - Market Street". Also 3:40 109 to Chester was a no show and people were fuming at the platform starter. I bet the 4:00 was packed to the door and then some knowing 109 ridership.
