5536 is back from overhaul. I saw it, as block 2501, deadheading southbound on Academy Road near Willits Road.

The following is from Brandon S.

My 98 took the normal detour, but the driver took a wrong turn.  One of the fun things about taking a wrong turn on a detour in Frontierland is that you end up in areas where buses just shouldn't run.  I guess the driver was tipped off that she made a wrong turn when she had to squeeze our NABI under a 1 lane underpass (with a very close clearance - it was one of those arched ones). Then, she turned into a small neighborhood street (where someone finally said, "where are we going?!") so that she could make a u turn and follow the regular route.

She was nice, though, and apologized for being late.

Also, on our detour, I saw 4520 in a new FULL wrap for comcast - it looks great, I think there were flames too.

Also 4551 has that wrap as well as I saw it at North Terminal (69th Street) on Monday. In terms of drivers getting lost, yeah I've heard that before. One time a 109 (this was a 31xx Neoplan, couple years back) driver was confused as to whether she was a 109 or 113. She made a left off of Union onto Stewart and then realized she went off route and had to go back to Wycombe and Baltimore Avenues to get back on route. [/color]

As for Frankford getting the 47m, all one would have to do is interline the pull outs & pullins with a route 5 run(i.e, after running as a 5 to Front & Market Streets, deadhead up to 8th & Spring Garden Streets to start). When completing, have them run up to 7th & Spring Garden in revenue service then deadhead to Front & Market Streets to run in revenue service to Bridge Street as a route 5 run. The 47m only needs 2 buses.

Back when the 5 ran to 3rd & Oregon, didn't Frankford have at least one trip deadhead to 2nd & Oregon Avenue or deadhead from 3rd & Oregon Avenue?

broad street line car #568 partially
speaks.

This morning sucked. The BSL had signal problems. The express I was on kept stopping and slowing down.

There was a neo on the 3:40pm 8.

There are 3 cameras on Southern's 5390 - one in front, one midbus, and one facing out the back door. They aren't the nice little black ball shaped ones though.

I wonder when or if SEPTA is going to put cameras on their vehicles. Only a select few have them, and the only camera program I know of recently was with the Neo artics.
