9006 was spotted on the 13 this morning, ad-free and with a fresh coat of paint (and with larger fleet numbers, also like the recently-repainted 9015).

Right behind 9006 was 9047, which recently had a LED display board installed right below the "stop requested" sign inside the trolley, similar to the ones found on all SEPTA buses, with the exception of the 40-foot Neoplans. However, the only message it displayed today was the date and time (the route number and destination were not featured on the sign, and there were no automated announcements).

Later this afternoon, around 4:25 p.m., eastbound trains on the Market-Frankford Line had to be held at 13th and 15th Street stations, because of an "emergency situation" at 11th Street.

Just got word from the field that 4536 is operating on route 123 4690 block. Also I should mention the other day I saw 5419 on the 52 / 9518 block with a partial streetside wrap saying "Elect Shariff Street for City Council at Large." This is the second political advertisement I've seen on a SEPTA bus. The first one was the Rick Santorum ads that appeared on city buses in the fall. Yeup, SEPTA will take the money no matter where it comes from.

Saw 5882 pull into 69th St. this afternoon on the 110 4620 block with "100- 69th St. Terminal" sign on the front and side. I took pictures but I am unable to figure how to post pics here. If someone can give me directions I will gladly share the pics with you.

Couple of incidents from overnight. At 7:30 PM, an inbound Route 100 car caught fire as it pulled into the Ardmore Avenue station. Cause is unknown. One woman was taken to a hospital for smoke inhalation. Then around 1:45 AM, 8041 on Route 17 night liner 7302 block struck a bicyclist at 15th and Market. The cyclist reportedely tried to beat the bus and failed. He was killed.

Yesterday evening, at about 7:30pm, I spotted a New Flyer & a NABI @ Richmond & Westmoreland. The New Flyer was definitely signed up for the 15. As for the NABI, the same may hold true, for the 73 seldom sees NABIs anymore.

In fact, when Frankford got their 5500s, they were deployed onto the 73 within a short period of time.

I also spotted 5870 on the 115 to Brookline yesterday evening. Any given day, I would rather have seen something like long retired Neo 8564(on the 104 to Newtown Square) but 5870 on an Eldorado dominated line will have to do.

There were at least 4 buses running regular revenue service on the 15 today.

The line has been dieselized. Why?

She goes into the depot but will be on light duty because of her asccident last week.

Rode 4549 on the 111 to 69th Street this morning. This bus becomes the 7:30 AM 111 to Chadds Ford. Must have been a crush load of people that time of the morning. Maybe they are retiring NABIs and there is a shortage. This run always (95%) of the time had a NABI

4542 is on the 104 / 4231 block as I type. Also Routes 101 and 102 are down due to a power outage. Passengers were let off a car that stopped after the crossing of westbound West Chester Pike and sent back to the terminal (this was a 102). An inbound car was stopped at Fairfield Avenue. No shuttle buses were deployed when I left on Dave's 109 at 3:40. Last night Dave had a lady have a heart attack on his bus on his 3rd trip (6:05 out of 69th Street) at Baltimore Ave and Oak Lane. The woman (said to be of Korean descent) was unresponsive and sweating when a passenger alerted Dave to the situation. He called control center requesting medical assistance, but they didn't get back to him until 8:27 PM. Five minutes after he called control he called 911 on his cell phone. Crews arrived and got the victim off the bus.
