Do the Frankford shares of the MFL Nite Owl have blocks in the 275x series?

I believe that's correct.

On the 18 @ Broad Street, the inside announcements for the routes serving the Olney Avenue Terminal include everything including Route G , reading something like:

OLNEY TERMINAL, FOR ROUTES C, "G", L, 8,22,26, 55 & THE BROAD STREET SUBWAY, ALBERT EINSTEIN, GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL.

This was a few years back. They may have gotten this straightened out by now.

They never corrected the mistake - not even after the inside announcements were updated last year.

This error only happens on eastbound Route 18 buses. The actual announcement is "Broad Street - Olney Terminal - for Routes G, 8, 22, 55, C, L and the Broad Street Subway, Einstein Hospital, and Girls High School." I guess they don't bother to mention the 26 because its first connection is at Chew and Chelten, and the Route 80 wasn't created until 2000.

They should have changed route G to route 6.

I rode the 15 today. From what I saw it was all PCC-II's. I drove past Callowhill Depot and saw 2 "spare" PCC-II's in the bay.

So they had enough PCC-II's to fill the line on the Sunday schedule.

SEPTA's Monday morning commute began with a bang -- quite literally.
An accident today at the Norristown Transportation Center terminal of
light rail Route 100 caused minor injuries. The news was first
provided to the Philly_Traction list by members Joe Butler and John
Almeida. Details varied in TV media reports posted to the Web. Here is
the WCAU report which includes an image:

A car hit the bumper block too hard, and people fell .

5009 is back? That's great.

I spotted 9057 in bay 4 @ the front of Callowhill depot while I was going past the depot Sunday evening.

I also spotted 5324 pulling into Callowhill depot as well.

Rode 2320 on the 15 today. He had no leader, and I spotted a bus working the 15 Westbound. I rode from Front & Girard to Richmond/Westmoreland.

People are getting a little disgusted with route 15 nowadays. SEPTA says it is fixing the problems.

In the back of my head, I tend to think that more SEPTA riders have gotten disgusted with the 15 over the years as opposed to any streetcar line that has since been converted during the early years of SEPTA.

When the 47 went in 1969(1967 below Spring Garden), "oh well"

When the 60 went in 1977, "no more bumpy rides along Allegheny Avenue".

When the 50 went in 1980, "so"?

As for the 6 in 1986 & the 53 in 1985, all the riders want(ed) on those 2 lines is(was) a straight shot feeder to the orange line at their respective stations.

People have rode both the 23 & 56 in both modes & people on the 23 in South Philadelphia(and North Philadelphia too, just look hard) & people on the 56 wouldn't mind having streetcars return to those two lines.

But for the 15, it's always something on this line.

I give the 15 like 5 more years. With SEPTA's budget being the way it is, I think that it would make some sense for them to sell all 18 of those cars & let the 15 become bus, once again, reassigning the 10 to Elmwood.

( I think that it would make some sense for them to sell all 18 of those cars )

Sell them to San Francisco, they could keep them running. The old scrap PCC's we sold them are plying the "F" -Market Line.
