The reason for the far side stops on the 52 is because SEPTA is equipping all the route 52 buses with a special green light holding device.
The driver will will be able to keep the traffic light green until he crosses the street, and then safely pick up the passengers on the far side.

3274 is still around. It was on the 79 yesterday laying over on Vare. Also, I saw 8087 with no ads on the C this morning @ 9th and the Boulevard.

More New Flyer Movements!!

Looks like Red Arrow will indeed get the higher end 5500s from southern to go along with the 5500s they have now. I spotted both 5598 and 5600 at 69th St terminal on the 120 and 111 respectively.

Also it appears that more 5400s are going to Comly. I saw 5474 on the 14 today leaving frankford.

This past Monday morning, 3454 was deadheading eastbound on the Schuykill Expressway and 3351 was on the 57. Monday evening around 11:45pm, I saw 5597 broken down eastbound on the Schuykill Expressway near Gladwyne. This morning, 3426 was on the K and 3395 was deadheading southbound on the Roosevelt Expressway.

3468 has been retired. Sources tell me that they saw 3468 being towed from Midvale to Frankford, ready for scrap.

I spotted 2 Silverliner II trains yesterday on the Warmisnter line.

Route 98 detour today:

Due to a pole tilting over, my bus was held up by traffic trying to go through the scene, and then had to detour around the area via a neighborhood street. Traffic was very horrible as people had to use a very short light and whatnot. We eventually got through it.

Then again on Fitzwatertown Rd we hit another blocked off section of roadway and had to make another quick detour.

Unfortunately my bus ended up being about 30 minutes late, making me (and others as well i suppose) late for work.

5332 sounded horrible by the way, like the hum noise was cutting out, yet it seemed like the basic DD50 sound was constant. The bus still had the smooth acceleration though, so i dont know what that was all about.
