There's a recent photo on nycsubway.org showing 2785 sitting in front of a K-Car at Elmwood...(I believe this is from the day of the 25-year anniversary fantrip)

Does that thing actually move, or is something wrong with the K-car sitting behind it? Or do they use reverse moves to get off of that track?

Heck I thought all of these things were gone anyway...

A few of them are in museums. The Friends of Philadelphia Trolleys are working on 2168. I'm a member so I'm doing some work on it at BSM (Baltimore Streetcar Museum). We are going to paint 2168 in Gulf Oil colors. We were able to buy tee shirts on the 25th anniversary trip, and one of them was 2168 in that scheme.

BSM also has 2799 down there for rework and use as a party trolley.

Is 2785 still parked at Elmwood and is it in running condition?
Perhaps it can be used as Bush's symbol for Global Warming. ^_^
