Revised policy on old threads. From now one, posts to topics more than 6 weeks dead will be split into new topics. If the moderation staff deems the reply 100% related to the topic, the reply will not be split. However, anything not 100% related to the topic will be split into a new thread. This way the date gaps on between replies are not excessive because it just doesn't make sense to bump old threads. I learned that the hard way when I bumped a five year old thread on Bustalk once and I don't want to do this again and I would like to keep the content on the forums up to date. If people keep posting in "dead" threads, we will begin locking threads more than 6 weeks old. Thank you for your cooperation and enjoy the content on PTV! |
