I spotted 5116 on the H/XH, 3256 block on Saturday July 14, 2007. Same for 5944 @ Cheltenham loop that same day. Idled for some reason. Maybe the protect bus. I also spotted 9066 on the 36 @ 61st & Elmwood this afternoon, with the operator standing in the front entrance door for some reason, with no one on board, with an Elmwood depot supervisor truck right in back of him. I don't know as to what this was about. I also spotted 2 Elmwood supervisor trucks on Grays Avenue approaching Elmwood, westbound. |

I spotted 5643 on the L yesterday afternoon. 5643 recently came back from Berridge from overhaul, with fresh paint. 5643 sounds more like a truck as opposed to a bus. |

Saw 5483 on the 108 4362 block today. Then later on saw 5349 on the 5:05PM 104 West Chester Express to Eagle Rd (5349 is a Southern bus, the one that rammed a semi on Front St on the G back in November of 2005). Also 5494 on the 109 / 4587 block (displayed 4521). Looks as though Comly's excess is making it to Red Arrow once again. The last time this happenned was the summer of 2003 when several 3400s (3401, 3404-3407 among others) stopped at Red Arrow on their way from Comly to Southern for a few weeks. 5349 on the other hand likely has two possible scenarios. It may be getting permanantly reassigned to Red Arrow since it is an odd ball in Southern's Ikaruses since 5350-5359 left back home for Frankford (which is where 5349 should be). If this is the case, 5349 should go to Frankford and Frankford should send Red Arrow 5275 since they already have 5271-5274 and 5276-5278. The other scenario is that a Red Arrow bus broke down on the 108 and the driver was given 5349 to finish their runs. I'd say the latter is the more likely of the two though. |

5244 was for the second day in a row on 118/104 4630 block. This is a Southern reject. 5349 is also at Red Arrow. I wonder if Red Arrow is getting all of Southern's out of sequence Iks (5244, 5245, 5349, 5177 is just a loaner)? BTW 5244, 5245, and 5249 were all originally at Luzerne/Midvale. 5244 and 5245 went to Southern earlier this year. 5249 has been at Frankford since the late 90s I believe (it's been there for awhile). |

9098 on the 15?! Callowhill should use those Kawasaki's on the 15 besides only on their other route, the 10. speaking of those k cars... ... what in the world they are doing at Callowhill? I've knowing those streetcars are out of Elmwood-- But at Callowhill? oh DUH!!! Thery are supposed to be there because of the 10. oh and Callowhill, If you're reading this, get those new PCC'S of yer's RETROFITTED FOR THE 10 , TOO!!!!
