Holy crap, whats a Neo doing on the 26? Call 911. someone must have hijacked the bus!

669 was trailing on an afternoon BSL spur train. 36x (cant remember last number) which was a S-IV working the R8 Fox Chase had no AC. It was the lead car. At Wayne Junction, nearly all of us moved to the second car. Then, as the train was backing up to line up with the handicapped platform, I was semi-hoping the train would hit the bumper at the end of the line. That woulda made for a great picture. Luckly, the engineer was very careful, and didn't hit the bumper.

Coach 800 was out running today on Route 59. Although no new wires
have been seen on Route 75, the wire crew is fixing "as needed". The
big news is it's out of the bus shop where a new diesel only motor has
been installed. Apparently the diesel-generator was problematic. This
would mean that the other 37 units will sport the changeover to diesel
only motor I would think. Delivery is scheduled at approximately 6
per month starting say around Feb. 2008.

Another conjecture is that if SEPTA is forced to keep the transfers,
they may go up to $1.00. This would solve the problem of the people
who have been trying to fool the driver and pay $0.50 for the current
$0.60 transfer.

I think that between 5684 & 5685, one of the two buses(or even both) were recently repainted. Can anyone confirm as to whether this is accurate?

Whew. They kept 5684.

From what I saw yesterday, just a few pillars remain, and they're already putting up guideway around 47th Street. 52nd has more to go, but for the most part, the 5200 block is open to sky for the first time in a century.

On Tuesday evening, I spotted 4560 on 22, 3228 block.

Going up PA 263 in Upper Moreland/Hatboro must have been a disaster for this operator.
