What about revising the 21 & 42 so that the 21 can return to running to Wycombe as well as 69th Street, and making all the trips on the 42 utilize the 61st & Pine loop. What was the purpose of running the 42 to Wycombe anyway? 21 used to go to Wycombe, 69th Street(still does) 42 was nothing except 61st & Pine. Years ago, the 21(D) had weekday express service. Reinstate some of that. |

The 89 was always a neighborhood feeder serving Harrowgate & Richmond. Ridership on the 89 doesn't warrant 10 minute frequencies. The old 89 ran from 2nd & Erie via B Street, Tioga to the MFL stop, Venango all the way down to the Tioga Marine Terminal. Currently the "million turns" routing is in the Frankford section. In Fishtown, the streets are arranged in such a way that the buses on the 89 have to obey those traffic patterns. The Fishtown segment of the 89 was once covered by the 57(weekdays only-Susquehanna & Girard Avenues). |

Agree on the 1. Its predecessor, the Boulevard Limited, did just that - only made certain stops. The 1, at the beginning, was a limited-stop service, but it's been watered down to a very short length of limited stop area. It could be much better with fewer stops. Not sure of the point of 35 running every 10 minutes. As it is now, it barely carries anyone and runs half-hourly. Who would be taking it if it ran every 10 minutes? A different approach would be to extend it to touch on different areas of upper Roxborough, Andorra and new developments to tie them into the trunk routes as well as Ivy Ridge station. Even so, a stretch van could probably provide the service and it wouldn't be 10 minute headways. |

Reroute the 18 express so it could stay on Broad Street northbound because around Broad and Stenton it would be rush hour traffic. |

Broad and Stenton isn't as bad as Broad and Olney. And besides, the 18EXP is rolling with the flow of traffic on Broad. As long as the operator keeps moving with the flow, its not bad. And on that subject.......why not give the 1 a major money boost.......have it serve FTC. There is too many lost riders along the Boulevard because the primary one seat ride runs like s@#!. Increase the frequency to 30 minutes keeping them to Phila. Park and WTC, and having a free transfer point at the City Line (somewhere WAY out the way to curb evaders) with the 14 and the 1 will make its normal express stops and a Additional stop at Bustleton and Comly. Institute a "D" schedule to allow operators to make full use of their vehicles with FTC being hard timepoints. |

Let the Market Frankford line have express service every weekday just like the Broad Street Subway and to make Cecil B. Moore an express stop on the Broad Street Line. |

I was thinking since Everyone is so concerned with Gas Prices and All. Septa should order more Kawasaki K Cars and restore lines 23, 56. Lines like 6, 53, and 60 should be Trackless, restore 29 and 79 in SouthPhilly. Maybe build a Light rail trolley line BLVD to Casino, maybe a lightrail trolley along the Schykill expressway ?? |

Restoring trolleys, trackless or not, would cost too much money that doesn't exist. Trackless - Overhead wires, depot facilities, (!) more trackless vehicles Conventional Track Trolleys - Track, overhead, depot facilities. Adding track in the current streets would cost billions. |
