Yesterday they handed out the school bus pass i was surprised i did not get one so after school i went to the assistant principal and she said

"you have to live a mile and a half away from the school in order to get it"

she asked me where did i live? i said around fern rock maybe olney.
she siad that she will think about putting my name on the list and the district will see about it

today i did not reach up with the assistant principal so I talked with the dean I told her about my conversation with the vice admin.... so she said that i will have to buy the tokens at the septa ticket operations booth i will have to buy the normal adult ones untill further notice the dean siad

" she WILL put my name on the list now as a possible factor in getting the passes"

Doesn't he go to Wagner?

Anyways, at Central we have our passes squared away. The vice principal knows that I live more then a mile and a half away, so she doesn't even bother to check the list to double check. They check the list for every other student, maybe.

No problems so far, except that you're required to go through the turnstile next to the operator's booth. Thats a real pain at Olney in the afternoon, getting on the BSL. Shame SEPTA isn't offering discounted Student Trail Passes. I'd pay for that one.

What about the Overbrook High School students? Also, the Bartram schoolchildren that live on the north side of Market Street?

If I still went to CHAD downtown, then I would be eligible. But now I go to a suburban school in Springfield Township, so no more daily bus/subway riding for me. :(

now the school says i need to get my mother to the school to discuss about getting the passes

But its ok I can go out on weekends with the same pass I used during the week and not use change. I can go to the malls use my pass to get aorund Philadelphia and take pictures without having a little bit amount of time and a curfew. Go ahaead school district of phila you think you can screw up my head with a few pssa's and Terra Nova test i am one of the smartest people in the class and continue to be.
