So I guess the bus roster should be changed.

The New Flyer's buses are not giving good service life. I guess we all know why so many overhauls. My Frankford buddy tells me it's the Turbo's, that's why the un-overhauled ones give off black smoke.

Hopefully the new trackless coach motors , both diesel & electric will make out better, they are different designs than previous.

5626 and 5676 have been overhauled. They were spotted and confirmed (including a picture of 5676 freshly overhauled) by a very reliable spotter.

You can continue to ride 5672 & savor the final moments of riding a New Flyer with the DD50(or 60) engine in the rear, making that hovering(screeching) sound whenever it pulls off.

A rare occurrence on a weekend. The operator on Route 59 Block 2001 was told by the Frankford blocker to take whatever he wanted. So the shop foreman gave him 3372, yes,a Neo on the weekend. The bus started all right after sitting all night but once on the road had trouble shifting into second gear. The operator had to play with the pedal to get it to shift. He finally took the bus in after two trips and they gave him a Flyer.

I am worried that the Neo's won't make it through the transition period.
Lets's cross our fingers
