It probably was 4462 you saw. That bus along with 4300 and 6569 are kept at Germantown however are moved every now and then to and from Courtland Berridge Shops for routine maintenance and inspection. It was probably returning from CBS to Germantown. |

Wow, 2 break downs yesterday. On Girbralter Rd, 4506 had broken down. Later that night, as I arrived at Plymouth Meeting Mall, 5236 was resting there as well (blocking the main bus drive). According to my driver, who had seen this bus last time she was at the mall, it had an oil spill - the bus area was blocked by mall security as they cleaned the mess up. Although the oil was gone by the time I got there, the area still reaked of motoroil. Pic below:

I spotted 5922 on Academy Road Southbound @ Comly Road, by the firehouse, on Tuesday, broken down, early in the morning. If it was a 67, the people were out of luck. |

Why are NABI's being painted if they are being retired in the next 4 years? They look fine to me. |

Rode 5324 on the 104 from West Chester- no A/C , very hot bus. Rode 3395 on the 75 (2002 block). No A/C and bad center doors. Also , two bent black , flexible ad card holders were behind the rear view mirror to keep it steady. My friend told me you had to be inventive with these Neo's. Since they will be scrapped next spring, hardly anything will be done to them except the changeover to heat. So they slowly fall apart, day by day. Rode 5480 on the way home on the 104, good A/C. The A/C is working on the El, too. Chuck Greene |
