TODAY WHILE SNOOPING AROUND IN THE MSN PAGES I SAW A VOLVO BUS AND IT WAS NOT ARTICULATED I TRIED TO PUT IT IN THE POST BUT COULD NOT GO IN. SO I WANT TO KNOW WHY THE BUS WAS NOT ARTICULATED AND WHY WE OR I DID NOT HEAR ABOUT THIS. ALL OF THE PICTURES ARE THE SAME BUS SO I AM THINKING THAT THERE WAS ONE UNIT

That would be Bus 8590, which was a 40 foot Volvo once owned by SEPTA. It is no longer on the SEPTA roster & is preserved at the Museum of Bus Transportation in Hershey, PA. Read all about it on the Oddballs/Demos tab under SEPTA's Fleet here on PTV.

8590 was a one-of-a-kind on SEPTA. I personally took many of the pictures of that bus that are stored on MSN & PTV.

Here are a couple of wallbangers: I spotted the following:

3431 on the 88 on Tuesday afternoon in Bustleton.

57xx(a Midvale Allison) & 5640 both out of comission with the engine covers lifted up, both on Mt Pleasant Avenue(@ Fayette).

I spotted 5475 on U.S. 1(Ryan-northbound, inner drive) last Friday, out of fuel.

On Monday, I spotted a New Flyer southbound on Comly Road broken down, out of fuel.

I spotted 8000 on the 47 last Friday.

One more wallbanger, about a couple of weeks ago, I spotted an Eldorado on the L, 3357 block around dinnertime, standing load, coming from Plymouth Meeting Mall. Ugh!
