7208 - was that on the 22/55 this morning (well, Tuesday morning)? If so then I heard/saw that bus at Willow Grove Mall. It sounded monsterous! Quite Midvale-ized I must say :).

Was the engine loud on the inside too? Does anyone have a recording of 7208?

I would have loved to get a recording, but I had to catch my connection to work.

It sounded very bassy, and then a bit like banging pots....not quite good, but interesting.

I have no idea how it sounds on the inside...I was on the other side of a parking lot when I saw said bus.

Well here is the new find this bus thread. Since the old one was beginning to get out of hand with more daily sighthings reports than find a bus reports, here are the rules. This thread is for posting numbers of ANY SEPTA vehicle (could be revenue, non revenue, CCT, bus, rail, etc.). Any reports on here which pertain more to daily sightings will be pruned.

Now, onto the purpose of this thread.

See if you can find the following SEPTA vehicles. Some numbers have purpose while others are purely random.

Bus: 2061, 2073, 2079, 3372, 3374, 3394, 3422, 3434, 3490, 4501, 4503, 4516, 4526, 4545, 4555, 4556, 4581, 5001, 5010, 5026, 5042, 5058, 5059, 5066, 5088, 5100, 5115, 5120, 5133, 5135, 5146, 5150, 5154, 5159, 5170, 5184, 5198, 5200, 5214, 5224, 5225, 5237, 5244, 5245, 5249, 5251 (The Bastard), 5257, 5258, 5268, 5273, 5279, 5285, 5296, 5297, 5298, 5299, 5304, 5315, 5322, 5326, 5330, 5331, 5337, 5344, 5349, 5353, 5360, 5366, 5371, 5374, 5392, 5393, 5400, 5401, 5411, 5417, 5423, 5433, 5434, 5435, 5436, 5447, 5451, 5460, 5470, 5471, 5474, 5476, 5483, 5494, 5499, 5500, 5501, 5502, 5503, 5504, 5509, 5512, 5527, 5540, 5541, 5555, 5560, 5569, 5585, 5588, 5593, 5599, 5600, 5601H, 5602H, 5607H, 5608H, 5613, 5619, 5625, 5633, 5640, 5643, 5646, 5652, 5656, 5657, 5666, 5673, 5680, 5686, 5698, 5700, 5704, 5712, 5713, 5720, 5726, 5742, 5749, 5757, 5760, 5777, 5781, 5793, 5794, 5806, 5809, 5812, 5825, 5829, 5831H, 5838H, 5847H, 5850H, 5851, 5855, 5863, 5869, 5876, 5884, 5885, 5898, 5900, 5905, 5912, 5913, 5924, 5926, 5927, 5938, 5949, 5950, 7101, 7112, 7119, 7129, 7134, 7140, 7154, 7171, 7177, 7181, 7200, 7201, 7213, 7220, 7223, 7254, 7255, 8000, 8008, 8026, 8046, 8064, 8071, 8080, 8099, 8100, 8107, 8119.
