Please read this at SEPTA News PageThey will order 400 Hybrid buses in 2008 to 2011 to replace those old of those 1996-1997 NABI high floot buses.

I saw that. Septa is planning to have the most hybrids in the nation. So will they be the regular DE40LF or the DE40LFR? i dont thik southern can hold all of those hybrids? so they might make a depot with 100% hybrids, like allegheny has 100% articulateds........

A new depot, that would be cool...

SEPTA send $212,387,236.00. for adding the 400 New buses to the 32-diesel electric hybrids. The Bus fleet Numbers will be 8100s series. I think 8100s Series i not sure what bus fleet Number, They will order 100 New Buses in each year. The New flyer's facts

2000-2001 New flyer have 100
2002-2003 New flyer have 318
2002 New flyer Hybrid have 12
2004 New flyer Hybrid have 32
2005 New flyer 120
2007 New flyer T.T 38
2008-2011 New flyer 400

the total of New flyer is 950 buses in each year.
now SEPTA got about 620 Buses in each year. SEPTA I got 400 New flyer Hybrid Buses.
