Stations/ terminals with communication device that announce when a train and bus is leaving or coming. i was at Olney terminal this afternoon and heard the smart announcement system was announcing, and it was nice. just a better definition from my old one...

On countless occasions, I've waited for the 13 @ 13th street westbound. Don't they still have the voice that announces as to when a certain route will have a car arriving within the "next two minutes"?

for example:

route 13, arriving in two minutes.

from what i last heard they still do. I think that going around to 13th street, i think that is what actually set the signal off.

But what about suburban station, market east station and 30th street station. do they just go by the schedule from when the train is supposed to come or it is on a schedule timer?

THAT IS AMAZING HOW THEY GOT A COMMUNICATION DEVICE THAT TELL YOU WEATHER A TRAIN OR BUS IS COMING
or
they have a person sitting it a small hidden away room looking at the clock waiting for that very special time to have thier deep voice heard on the intercom saying what buses and trains are arriving
