Recently I was nominated a secratary of my school in the student government and I won the position. As a secratary I have to do paper work write letters to the news, make flyers, stuff like that. We are planning a trip to city hall. But we do not want to use a school bus, so we came up with the idea of chartering a mini SEPTA bus. I am in charge of getting that bus. I need help, any suggestions besides an El Dorado I hate the fact that you have to sit facing the other persons face. I would like a small cutaway bus with lots of room, comfortable seating, good heat, and a nice big emergency exits (just in case). Any suggestions you guys.............. |

If your group is small enough to only need to charter a small bus (I'm guessing it's just your officers that are going), why not just take SEPTA in to City Hall? That would avoid the SEPTA Charter fees and save money, and it's not too difficult to stick together. I planned a trip to NY (the very cheap way), but there were only about 8 of us. Other times, a school group of 15 to 20 of us took the train to the city. If you group isn't too big, I think that would be the best thing to do. Otherwise, there's Krapf's Coaches (www.krapfbus.com) which could provide a comfortable cutaway. Werner Coaches can help as well. Maybe SEPTA will let you use their new cutaways. Dunno what the seats are like, though.Just remember that chartering buses can be expensive, as you are also paying for the driver. So, if it's reasonably feasible, just take mass transit. |

I say just take SEPTA their like the other person said. I have no idea how much it costs to use a charter...but i'm sure u can imagine, renting there bus, driver, and fuel costs will be pretty costly. |
