As for SEPTA, are they in the stage of trying to relegate NABIs to weekday only service?

At Midvale & Callowhill, I see more New Flyers covering service levels more than anything.

Not if you watch 9 and 61 - they seem to get lots of NABI's on the weekend runs.

Frontier seems to run more NABIs than New Flyers any day, lol. I think there are too many NABIs for them to be pushed to weekday only service only, anyway.

Either last weekend or the weekend before last, I spotted 5043 outside Callowhill with the inside engine cover(the back seat base raised up) inside the bus.

When the NABIs were brand new, SEPTA ran an ad stating the NABI as a "New Bus"(like a newborn baby), with 5043 as the candidate in the ad.

At times, any of the Midvale routes running through North Central Philadelphia can
turn into junk lines at any given day. One day, it can be mainly New Flyers on the 47 on the Midvale share in the morning, but darn near all NABIs in the afternoon peak. 23(Midvale) can have all Flyers on Saturday & all NABIs on Sunday.

With the way things are at Midvale, don't be surprised if you see a Neo borrowed from Frankford on any of the North Philadelphia routes in the immediate future. Midvale is really in a bind for equipment.

I miss riding a 3200(3284) or low 3300(3305) on either the C or the 47.

I have ridden NABIs on the 9 on weekends(5243 on both occasions) & I spotted 5189 on a Saturday evening @ Ridge & Parker a few weekends back.

Except for the expressway, NABIs fit right in on the rest of the 9. Roxborough(Ridge Avenue) has a stop, go & cruising nature.

The 27 used to get NABIs when assigned to Allegheny. A NABI on Upper Henry Avenue? A No No.

Already happened. Saw 3481 and 3418 on the 55 a while back. My eyes nearly popped out of my head when I saw them at Willow Grove Mall. Couldn't grab a picture as it was nighttime...argh...
