I think as mentioned before, with all this increase service. SEPTA has no other choice but to keep some of the NABI fleet running around for a while.

However, if the 14 will go all artic, how would that affect the 18, 22 and 55? I know these lines mixes artics and standard buses, but will these lines go back to the regular sized buses only? I can see the intense overcrowding on these buses occuring.

The 9 & 22 would completely lose the presence of artics. The 18 & 55 would lose the artics on weeknights, Sundays & holidays.

The service on the 14 beyond Neshaminy Mall must be retained. A one seat ride from Bridge/Pratt to Bucks county is a must.

I think with the 14 going all artic or some artic they is going to be some major moving of some routes among allegheny, midvale, comly, & frankford. First i think that there some be some type of dual operations between allegeheny & midvale since they are only 5 minutes away from each other. Let allegheny keep thier artics but when needed like at night or on weekend they should be able to go to midvale and get a 40 footer to run on allegheny runs. Now if the 14 does go 100% artic look for it come from alegheny & midvale. Some of the R runs can come from allegeheny/midvale and be interline wit the 14 or the 1 interline with the 14. The 26, 54, 89 all should go to frankford, 1, 19, 67, 88 all go to comly full time and split the 14.

Hope this isn't an early April Fools joke. Artics on the 14?

That's what's being proposed according to the budget proposal. Whether or not SEPTA can pull it off is another thing.

Also, I thought the 14/20 interlining ended when the 50 was created. To me, it would've made more sense to interline the 20 and 50 as opposed to the 14 and 20.

Technically, all three routes ARE interlined, but several 50 trippers have 1, 14, 20, 24, and 58 fillers.

Based on my recent observations, the 9 has already lost its artics. Haven't seen one there since the last schedule change.
