Why does Allegheny transfers still has the 35 & R on them?
Does anybody know for sure that 35 & R school trips come from allegheny and that why they are still on allgheny transfer.
Not sure why 35 and R remain on Allegheny transfers. 9, 32 and 61 came off very quickly after the move to Midvale. R did get shared by Frankford and Allegheny for a short while in the period following the Germantown closure, but it didn't last very long.

As far as school runs, a 440 that mimics 35 and once ran with El D's (basically Wissahickon Loop - Roxborough High) runs out of Midvale and the runs turn to and from 9. Other 440's going Roman/Hallahan - Roxborough come out of Allegheny. I believe the R's school runs are all out of Frankford these days.

I don't use transfer slips as a official catalog of what SEPTA routes a based and where, so don't look too much into it.
